Being holy entails being set apart for God. We are told what it means to be holy throughout God's Word. Furthermore, 1 Thessalonians 4:3 states, "For this is God's will, your sanctification; that is, that you be made holy."

God obviously wants us to be free of sexually immoral, sensual, or filthy pictures, recordings, and experiences. These are all sinful behaviors. Porn is meant to elicit sexual arousal, which leads to lust and sin. Lust is a sin that arises from watching people engage in sexual behaviors that are frequently severely deformed or perverted. Pornography is sinful because it is wicked in this way.

The argument that pornography does no harm to anyone is a popular one used to explain it. In actuality, it harms at least one person—you, not to mention others involved in its creation. When you watch pornography, your sexual thoughts are significantly more intense than those you may have in a happy marriage.Scenes that are improbable, impossible, and unethical are shown to you. The performers on TV act in ways that would never happen in a real and exclusive sexual connection with your partner. In many circumstances, you will be subjected to verbally and physically violent activities in order to increase your sense of arousal.

None of this is how sex should be in a monogamous marriage between husband and wife, which is the only type of sex that God approves.
