I'm almost immune to negative news about Nigeria on TV cos i've been hearing it for eons now. But there's a more disturbing situation now where hollywood and everyotherwood now tries to label Nigerians even beyond our shores as no gooders. I remember when we used to see moving abroad as an escape from hellish conditions back home, but these days any mention of one having a relative outside would almost get you a suspicious look(i sh¡t you not).
My question is, do people outside deserve the slowly growing "crime" reputation they're getting ?

District 9 waz a pretty lame attempt at sci-fi by S.A.THE movie sucked.

the movie wasnt that good.

They just mentioned Nigeria to try and give it some credibility and to cover the lameness.

They need to learn from hollywood, imo.

@tpia i don't know which district9 you watched but the one i watched was impressive and refreshing.

Any true Scifi fan would be able to put aside bias when judging a scifi movie. District 9 was very good by scifi standards. The story was more original than even Avatar can claim. Please visit a REAL hive of scifi geeks to get feedback on district 9.
