Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has commissioned a number of projects spread across various communities in the state, as part of activities marking his 3rd year anniversary in office.

Among projects commissioned by the governor are the newly completed two and half kilometer Ori-Apata-Nata Nova Road Ado Ekiti, rural electrification of Irasa and Ilokun Ado Ekiti, Okemesi-Osun State border road and the Ikun bridge in Moba local government area of the state.

The governor told newsmen during the commissioning of the projects that his administration remains committed to the infrastructural development of the state, despite paucity of funds.

Residents of Ori Apata-Nata-Nova Road in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State Capital were excited as they welcomed Governor Fayose to their community for the commissioning of the newly constructed two and half kilometer road project, a road which residents of the area say had not received attention from past administrations in the state.

After the commissioning of the road project, the governor made his way to Irasa and Ilokun community in Ado Ekiti for the commissioning of a rural electrification project.

The governor’s convoy then proceeded to Ikun in Moba local government area of the state to commission the newly constructed Ikun bridge, which was formerly constructed by the late Sage Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

The governor then rounded off the commissioning of projects at Okemesi Ekiti, where he commissioned the newly rehabilitated Okemesi-Osun state border road.
