jakD:the first thing Buhari did to tackle boko haram is to seek for assistance from neighbour countries and full working of the multi national force,I think this is the right move to end this crisis |

GavelSlam:answering questions with questions. Oya, tell us what Buhari wants ECOWAS to do for him. Then come back and ask me some more silly questions and I will gladly explain to you why your education is the greatest financial misadventure ever undertaken by your parents. |

GavelSlam:let us pretend the bloodsucking Fulani herdsmen are truly migrant vagabond from other West African countries and not from the north, what has Buhari done at home to solve the menace? What has trade got to do with Fulani herdsmen thirst for land and blood? Why are only the farmers in Nigeria targeted by these herdsmen ? Why aren’t there clashes in their home countries? Can’t you see you have lost the right to pretend you’re sane? |

Goke7:Not all Fulanis are herdsmen. Some Fulanis I have met personally ccondem the herdsmen attack. Buhari is sorounded with bigots that will always give him wrong advice. The solution to this problem is simply disarming both the herdsmen and any armed farmers. Then compel the herdsmen to move into ranching. But those with sinister motives will always want to propose grazing reserve or new cattle colony. 1 Like |

GavelSlam:no where in your furnished link was it written Fulani herdsmen came from other West African countries into Nigeria’s border to kill. If anything, it collaborates with that I have been stating, inter alia, Fulani herdsmen are unhinged brutes with no scruples or civility stock in prehistoric lifestyle. |

Tallesty1:iPod are 100% Nigeria, but Fulani is a different case.when dry season comes, thousands of Fulani cross the boarder from Niger republic and Chad. So yes we need the help of our neighboring countries. 1 Like |

This Tell the story Nigeria is a Failing state that is if not Failed already. Nigeria seeking the assistance of Ecowas to resolve or solve internal Crisis. this tells how daft our Executive Members inclusive of the Petroleum Minister. But trust its an agenda setting They need ECOWAS because of the Fulani spread across west Africa and the need to redraw the so called colonial cattle routes. That will never work. Nigeria is an independent entity and the same Nigeria had never obeyed several ruling of the same ECOWAS Court, so why run to the commission for issues that within your domain. Bull shit. Yet when a fellow President calls us shit hole country we all screamed |

Castanea: their major problem is coming to terms with 21st century realities. The days of pushing cows all over the place is gone. Ranching is the way to go and they must be ready to invest their money if they want to remain in business. Days of free land are also gone. 1 Like 1 Share |

freeze20: They have no choice any longer, this is why they are opposed to regional governments and decentralization of power in Nigeria which will surely happen whether they like it or not. They have no choice but to go with the ranching option. |

This is nothing but hypocrisy of the highest order. Did the Federal Government seek the opinion of ECOWAS before descending hammer on IPOD? |
