My argument still stand. Saying there are some Idoma speaking communities in Enugu state doesn't mean the Idoma people originate from Enugu. It's the same as saying there are some yoruba speaking communities in Farfaru, Sokoto state.

sokoto don't have border with any south western state,and it does not share borders with kwara or kogi state where we have Yoruba's,so the example you gave no hold water at all.
Benue share borders with some south eastern state,so it's possible some idoma communities will be in Enugu state

Like wise its possible some yoruba communities will be in Sokoto. Sokoto state doesn't need to share border with any yoruba state for yoruba's to live there.

We're talking about where Idoma people originate from. Not where they live. After all, we know there are yoruba and igbo communities in England. Now do yoruba and igbo originate from there.
