The first ever Okun Students Essay competition is now open!!! The aim of this competition is to encourage NAOSites to engage in thoughts regarding the future of Okun Nation and what they would envision that the future look like. The general theme of the competition is ” The future of Okun Nation” There are 4 Sub-topics you can choose from:
1. Unity is Strength
2. The roles of Okun Students in Okun Nation building
3. Where we are?? Where we ought to be!!!
4. Roles of Unionism in the Development of Okun Nation
*Eligibility:*
1. The Applicant must be an Okun student in any higher institution in Nigeria
2. Essay must contain name of student, name of his chapter
*Rules*
The essay should not be more that 500 words
Choosing more than one topic is disallowed.
More than one submission is disallowed.
The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
All entries will be checked for plagiarism. Plagiarized articles will be rejected and the participant will be banned from participating in any future competition as well.
Language for the essays will be English only.
Participating in the event means that you agree to abide by all the rules of essay competition
You should be the only author of your essay. Co-authorship is not allowed.
Usage of active voice, multiple paragraphs to make it readable will be an added advantage
Formats accepted are .doc, .docx, .rtf
Your essay document name should be in this form : < yourname >_ and should be emailed to nationalnaos@gmail.com

2nd Prize: 30,000
3rd Prize: 20,000
10 consolation prizes will also be given.
