Rachealoduah: lemme reply from where you quoted me . Paul himself was never a Christian at one time but became one in just a day .praise Jesus!!! what m trynna say is I never fancied the religious life but I lived as a humanist ,just a morally sane life .,I went back to Christianity fully for two years,.doing all that a proper Christian would do. isn't my two years supplications enough to make god surprise me ,just maybe I could trust him completely and throw away all doubts about him ?? I sense the emotion you're attaching to your replies keep calm please .we are all trynna prove a point devoid of ridicule |

Rachealoduah:Apology accepted. You got one thing wrong tho, I never served yahweh for what I gained from him, i never implied it in my post. I left christianity because it fails logic, critical reasoning, and it is inconsistent with reality. It became obvious to me that christianity doesn't make sense. The price some people pay for indulging in organised magic thinking is the vulnerable to mental slavery, exploitation, missed life opportunities and the wastage of one's life in services to these things. I was once like you, so zealous and devoted but as I grew and reasoned things out, it was clear to me that religion, voodoo, witchcraft, spells and curses, charms, incantations and other world mysticism are ridiculous garbage. I wish someone told me earlier. You might think there is a holy spirit talking to you but it's just your emotions and intuition. Worse, auditory hallucination. Men have been speaking to god for centuries yet no one has been told the cure for hiv. Perhaps you can ask God for me. Good bye. 1 Like |

@Rachealoduah, go to the neuropsychiatric clinic at yaba and you will see christians, muslims and godless people with all sort of mental problems. I remember walking in there and I saw a woman who was publicly displaying her lunacy. The woman was shouting out holy scriptures, her husband was there with his own mental problem and it was their daughter who happened to be the only child trying to put things together. The daughter is probably still a teenager. What kind of God folds his arm a let that happen? Do you think that if you were the woman you wouldn't have suffered that? Stop looking at only your life, go out and look at others that are suffering and having one problem or the other. Do you think that if we're among the church members at uyo where a church collapsed, your case would have been different? Is there anything you have that those people didn't? Do you know that since the history of medicine, no case has it that prayer and faith cured an illness? |

33bandit:yeah, we need to call these sorts of things out. How can someone who has never met you say you sat down and was expecting miracle as if you don't know what is good for you? |

Bro Good pm. I have read through you posts and i only have one prayer for; and that is that God should open your eyes. The truth is if we go deep into your claims of once being a Christian we will see that you never truly was a christian but a *religious* person. If you actually got born again the right way, got filled with the Holy ghost you won't be saying this. But all the same my prayers are with you. To the Op congrats. But trust me you need God now more than ever. I have seen intelligent students being withdrawn from medicine. so no think say to na to get admission na now way work start trust. #Team medics# repping unizik# 1 Like |

macville2:The OP is fine. If she reads her book very well, she will make it. Intelligent students get withdrawn because of unseriousness, addiction to marijuana, alcohol, illicit drugs or pornography and being a victim of callous lecturers. If she reads and be careful, she will pass. Who told you she wasn't really a christian? You were living with her all these while? And please don't try to separate christianity from the word religion. Christianity is a religion - - - - use a dictionary for goodness sake. |

Proverbs 16:16 "How much better [is it] to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!" its good to know that all the gold and silver in the world cannot buy you eternal life. a man should not lain to is own undrstanding for the life of man doesn't depends on what you have or even want to be. Revelation 22:11 "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still." Those who reject God’s warnings will fix their eternal destiny in hell, where they will retain their evil and filthy natures for all eternity. Those who respond to the warnings will fix their eternal destiny in glory, and realize perfect righteousness and holiness in heaven. Verse 11 is not a command, but rather a statement of fact and a warning. Character tends to become fixed and unchangeable, determined by a lifetime of habitual action. The arrival of the end will prevent any change of destiny. Those who hear the truth but continue to do wrong, will by that hardened response fix their eternal destiny in hell. Conversely, those who continue to practice righteousness and keep himself holy give evidence of genuine saving faith. When Christ returns, the deliberate choice of each person will have fixed his eternal fate. We cannot cover up from God. God sees into the heart. If you are a sinner, He already knows it. You do not have to tell Him. If you belong to Jesus, He knows that too. Whatever you are down deep, Jesus already knows. |
