Wit the drama going on here I think I need to contact zeeworld to start filming an episode... from disappearing acts after being delayed, to prayer and fasting warriors, to VO's in the house, to theory and hypothesis formulation, to server down/ up monitors, to check again at noon proponents (yours truly), to peeps closely marking IRCC on twitter, facebook, instagram, website,etc, to folks doing unpaid work to keep their minds away from IRCC thought and retain their sanity, to those that fell sick after receiving medical call because of tension between medical request date and medical exam date of availability, to how hearts skip a beat whenever the phone beeps (that may be the mail I've been waiting for oh!), to CSE warriors, SOP combatants (As everybody's SOP is becoming perfect, LOE has entered and by the time ALL LOE's meet minimum requirement, another document will become essential), to Peeps blowing up when "some kind of " questions are asked repeatedly like "I can't log in, do I call fire service? to folks asking about GCMS if delayed and reminding people that they are leaving them behind in a hole when finally approved. I remember one fellow who was drinking lacasera when his "letter of delay" was received on phone... He said the taste of the drink changed immediately in his mouth. This is one hell of a nollywood story in various episodes (part 14 now).... It will be great if people come back like 5 years after travelling to give their Canada experience and tell the house if they will still desperately seek this path seeing what they know now, with hindsight.

One of the most interesting write ups here. Mrs. Daniels should feature prominently in this movie.

@Vivincintia,

Out of curiosity, just wanted to confirm if UBC refunded the USD5,000 admission deposit for the MBA program

vivicintia:

I used an agent, but d deferral fee requested is from d sch not d agent and d school gave me till January to pay d deferral fee. Am no longer interested in d sch again or d deferral since d visa was denied.
The issue now is not d agent but to get the acceptance fee of $5000 back from d sch.
What u sent is for continuing studies , it's same refund policy for MBA.
Av searched d acceptance fee refund policy for UBC, MBA based on visa denial can't find it.

Good morning everybody, pls I need your candid advice. My school has cancelled my admission since I couldn't meet up with their resumption and the 2weeks grace given has elapsed. I was told to reapply for fall 2019 as they don't have any winter session. I have started looking for schools for winter session but what happens if cic request for a new admission letter? I'm really confused pls brothers and sisters I need your advice. One thing is I can't want for fall next year. But how do I go with it and also what do I do as pa cic since my app is still on background check.

@litterbug,

In the interim, why not try express entry, instead of just waiting for next fall. You could before that time achieve two things, PR status and Admission to school.

In fact, we'll be submiting our passports to you for one week anointing by fire so that as VO just see the passport... next thing will be passport request without medicals or visa straight if na paper application.
...But please don't put that kind of powder that someone put in passport for US visa application oh! I heard that as VO opened passport, powder puffed out and embassy was closed till powder was evaluated in lab and VO's thoroughly screened for health issues. With your confidence, I am beginning to suspecting that you put small otumokpor powder in your passport then come dey preach for us here! E tay wey I see person with your level of confidence. That level of belief fit make you win Presidential election sef.

Maybe they told that US visa applicant to rub small powder but instead of sharing the powder with his fellow country people, the person just poured it all in his/her passport for maximum effect! Trust naija with now now solution.. no time!

Please is it advisable to apply for Masters in universities in Canada and USA, or I should just stick to one country

Won’t I have problem getting a study visa if the VO knows I applied to both USA and Canada

Well guys I started my journey to go to Canada in June 2017. After my first denial in November 2017 I was really down and frustrated. Nevertheless I didn’t give up. After securing admission into a more convincing school I reapplied for my TRV in July. Well even though I’ve had to defer my admission to January, I have now secured my TRV.
My point is never give up. I’ve been denied UK student visa twice and Canadian student visa once. But I never gave up. God is always in control.
