jandj: Nice one, Im in support of operation no agent Bt d fact remains Dat not all are good at surfing d internet, some people nature of work won't allow such Bt even if u are using agent, let der b a written agreement ,stating wat his service is all abt and be conversant with all dis processing, don't let anyone bobo u. A friend of mine fell into agent trap. After collecting 200k from her, he stated dat she would b d one to pay for visa fees, medicals, write her S. O. P,L.O.E. his work is to bring all d doc and make submission online. Imagine submission online only for 200k, wat is d big deal abt submission. So b wise 1 Like |

CuteCeo: Bro, I will advise u go fo a master's degree in your field of study. Although an advanced diploma admission might seem easier than a master's degree admission, VOs also reverse the order for visa processing. They make getting a visa easier for a master's degree applicant easier than an advanced diploma applicant. Also, an agent will not tell u dis as he will only be interested in his pocket. They will only tell u to get admission. P.S I didn't say advanced diploma applicant don't get visa.. I only said it's more difficult than a master's applicant. (Based on recent trends) |

mathy001: I'm looking at the cost. As I only have about 7m ( considering this amount, is it feasible?) Also, most masters i saw are thesis based, and i heard it's hard to get reply. I saw a masters programme i want in University of Manitoba ( Environment and Geography), but I need to contact a supervisor(which i heard is hard). |

CuteCeo: Don't av d mindset Dat anytin is hard No harm in trial Write a strong letter of intent to d supervisors, talk about ur academic success, d research works u did, if u were given awards or u represented ur department for any outside competitions. Talk Abt ur proposed course, y wish to further ur education in Canada (let it b in line with ur course of study), y u chose d supervisor and D reason u chose thesis based. Attach ur CV, transcript, awards or any pix where u represented ur skl, degree cert. Try writing to supervisor at least 3 schools U can contact @junwa, he got full funding in USASK I hope dis helps |

rolishair: MBA admission is easier in UNB because they have two types of MBA running in two different cities - Fredricton and ST John. My brother told me about the MBA and As at last year, the acceptance rate was high. I got admitted within 3 weeks. Although I later decided not to pursue MBA. You can give it a trial. UNB is university of new Brunswick. Thank You. |

You might have no need to go through the whole 14 parts from a few years ago. If you good at solving puzzles reading 2 Parts alone while following the latest one (499pages) and google will do you some good. It is still an overview of everything ever discussed on this thread. Especially page 1, By the time you finish you will informed. Then familiarize yourself with the IMM forms from cic.gc.ca. 85% of questions you likely to ask has been asked at one point or the other on the thread. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by alftdbts: 12:42pm On Sep 26, 2018 |
dimejalex: There is no assurance about anything Canadian study visa. (Everyone answering questions here re not visa officers that can ascertain you either you get it or not, people here are those who have gotten their study visas and are in Canada trying to help others and those who are still waiting or hoping on their applications or re-applications). If you already have your letter of acceptance then read through this thread properly. Put in your best writing a good statement of purpose, clearly stating your mission, intent, your goals, and overall benefit of your course to you and your country and why it's important for you to travel atall to Canada for the program especially if the course is offered here in Naija. Also, you have a study gap of 3years (2015-18) what have you been up to? That needs some explaining because it could pose a problem too, so have you been working or learning a trade. You need to reflect that in your write up even if via your CV. My advice Read this part from (1-499pages) to start with and follow the instructions on the first page. With that your questions here would be directed and precise. |
