iya muri: wel, we can jst conclude any kind of news is nt true, atleast u said he/she is a staff bt i don't tink it could be possible. it as never happen & i don't see d nid it ought to happen except if d admission wil be issued individualy by an admission letter via e-mail.
For those of u dat ar so anxious of knowing d date d list wil b released, i'm sorry u ar swimming in an unecessary headache. Nobody (except d V.C) can be sure of when d list wil be out, anytin anybody says for now is jst a prediction. But i'll feed u when d time gets closer cos i'm very much likely to b informed mayb 3days to dat time.

Prepare to check ur "Admission Status" from the Jamb website from Monday 6th September, 2010, provided you have supplied all the necessary information needed for admission and your weighted average point is above 60% to qualify you for the 1st batch list. Just vist: www.jamb.org.ng

big-head: what jamb does is jst a demand for a discription of ur o'level result, dat's y u don't fill them A1,B3,C6. bt as A,B,C,D,E,F. anyway, it has noting to do wit each other.
Akintola: i don't believe dat ur news is true, cos d ADMISSION COMMITTEE wil hav their 1st meeting on 7th & 8th of Sept on how to Generate a list (i.e nos of candidates to admit 4 each dept, total no of candidate to admit, how to shuffle candidates by their weighted average score, nature of d course applied for & d number of applicants). Wel, all fingers are crossed, 6th is nt far away frm here!

guys. let us be realistic.there is no way admission list could be out tomoro cos even the admission committee dat will draft out d list will meet dis week. so let us not creat unnessasery panic. and mind u, the list will be presented to jamb by unilorin and not d other way round.                               the list could only be compile within dis week and next week.so b4 we could start talkin of the list coming out, it will be after 20th of sep.my opinion though, dis is becos admission proper will only start after holiday which is 13th of sep,  so i will encourage all to continue prayer and not wait 4 any list tomoro,

Folar: i support ur point cos it's notin bt d realistic truth. mosttimes, it's very necessary u read a news based on d looks of tins & situations @ sorrounding. d 1st list is very much likely to be released in d 3rd week i.e btw 20th Sept & 24th Sept bt i suggest fri., 24th & admission list most of d time ar released towards d evening period of d day.

Hmmm, in my honest opinion,wether d skool is openin today,tomorrow,next week,next month or even next year, i'm very prepared, so how bout you?how prepared are you?

If U want to check your own Admission Status, make sure you check it around 12.00 noon. Just visit www.jamb.org.ng. The compilation of the list has already completed since last week Thursday and the deadline given to all schools by Jamb to submit the list of their admitted students will lapse on 9th September, 2010. So therefore, I am very sure that the list must have been uploaded to the Jamb website since last week Friday.
