@all i heard something but i really dnt know how tru it is----- a student in unilorin confirmed from one of the lecturer that the 5 best o level subject that we were asked to fill for our intended courses are very important and therefore must correspond with our course of study,if not such candidate will be automatically dis-qualified.

Those 5 best O'level subjects are very important and should be taken very seriously. Like Bigbug said "If you don't have ECONS in your O'level, you can't be allowed to study POL. SCI." Also, If you dont have GOVT in your O'level, you can't be given ECONOMICS (and other BSS courses). No matter who you know. Even if you are given on the admission list, you have to be transferred because the Admission Office and Faculty Office will not clear you. Students are not disqualified but moved and as I have learnt, those movement are sometimes disastrous.
