Who careas what a clown thinks.
I'm not even from Anambra but i'm so glad that Anambra 1st son put that collage together. From now until eternity, anywhere i see you tell lies about Anambra or any southeast state, i will promptly remind you by posting the pictures for your bitter memory grin grin grin grin grin grin grin abooki.

Meanwhile, see what we call ambulances not the crap in Osun that was used as excuse to bankrupt the state.

Notice that Obiano just dashed out the ambulances to tertiary hospitals that need them and didn't even have to do special ceremony just to launch them.

Op, you really hit the nail on the head with this exposive thread. Kudos. This is what I have been hitting on for so long, but because I am from Anambra state that wawa people loathe so much because of our divinely-placed superiority over them, they call me afonja and other things. But the truth must be said no matter what. The dubious practice of some people showing only pictures of independence layout and new haven which make up just 2% of Enugu, as the whole of enugu must end. The other 95% of Enugu which includes coal camp, obiagu, abakpa, asata, iva valley, etc wallowing in squalor and poverty must be showcased too, because those are the real Enugu where 90% of the wawa population in enugu live..

What do you mean by "our divinely-placed superiority...?" Take time, oh! angry

OP should show us pictures of Enugu he took or you may buzz off this thread

We don't need pictures because the OP basically posted known facts about enugu village and there are countless pictures on google to prove OP's points with.

Guys pls Anambra n enugu are two different states now so why all this picture from Anambra state, once you cross oji river you don enter Anambra be that na.
Back to the topic

From my experience in south west (osun) rural areas are not very remote unlike the rural areas we have in south east. South east (Enugu, Anambra) is cool provided you're not in a rural area. I guess that's what the op is trying to tell us. undecided
Don't mind dem. sad They keep thinking that some of us have not visited the SE region, that is why they keep showing only one side of the SE state capitals, while ignoring the slums and backward areas, that exist close to those districts.

Don't blame me, this is one of the reasons I went with high hopes to see that city that's better developed than Lagos, PH, Ibadan, Kano, Kaduna, et al according to this poster.
You are a tribal bigot and it's very obvious. Anybos can compare any city. I can compare Eket to Abuja if i want and it is based on a particular parameter. So, someone saying Enugu is better than Port-hacourt may mean that Enugu is more livable and not that Enugu s more dveeloped. I don't know if you indeed went to Enugu and i'm not saying Enugu is out of this world but it's a moderate city when compared to other cities it's size or age.

...Look at your highly biased and one sided description. And to think that you covered it under the guise of "an honest opinion",it's very hard not to call this a diss. Talk about fly overs, i know of the one close to NAF 305 flying school, i also know of the one along airport road, close to NNPC mega station.
And your cover was blown when you said that you didn't notice any much traffic in enugu, doesn't that show an already effective road network, so why the fuss about flyovers?? Flyovers are "purpose built" .
Did you also notice that spar, park n' shop, has an outlet in the newly built Enugu mall?(Not shop rite oo).
Does Ibadan have a spar outlet...??i don't think so.
You also dissed our airport Hahaha ,,, isn't that ironic when Ibadan airport generates less traffic in an entire year than Enugu does in a month?? . In 2016 Ibadan airport serviced about 18,000 air travelers , but Enugu airport serviced close to 400,000 air travelers. What about cash transactions Enugu state always tops Oyo state in terms of volume of cash transactions, despite the massive, massive population difference. Which state is the dead one??
I agree that igbos are giving Enugu undeserved hype and everything but a guy that comes from Ibadan is in absolutely no position to diss Enugu (drops mic, and leaves angrily)
lacasera14:
Well, Well, Well, Enugu has been one place I've been wanting to visit for so long after the hype occasioned by sheer bigotry and sentiments by the Igbos. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement, I was raged filled at how people could celebrate mediocrity this far in the 21st century. Enugu was just an average city filled with annoying red earth and dusts all over. What's so special? nothing. Independence layout, new haven, trans ekulu, G.r.a, ziks avenue, okpara avenue, ogui road, emene, presidential road, all this places just seemed like what it's like in owerri, which I think the area around concord beats this places by far. Gosh, I couldn't wait to return back to Lagos. Almost every taxi is for hire, buses everywhere including 18th century lorries. Omo the only thing I enjoyed about the town is their shoprite, everything else was just annoying. how can a whole tribe be wrong? anybody that ever says Enugu is more developed than Ibadan or Port Harcourt is hereby declared a fool. Damn it!.

Hehehe.....so finally...someone confirms that Enugu has a functional airport. Anytime I say so on NL, several misguided IPOBians jump up in anger, ready to lynch me for opposing their propaganda that the entire SE region lacks a functional airport. cheesy Wonders shall never cease!

I thought mods were supposed to be objective? When your people spew crap about other state capitals in the North or West, you keep quiet. When someone makes an unflattering remark about one of your SE capitals like Enugu, you are quick to allege bigotry. May God deliver you! undecided

I wouldn't call it "functional" exactly tho. Your federal government has refused to install night landing equipments on the runway, which is VERY essential for international airlines to operate.
That is why it's only Ethiopian airlines currently operating international flights there, because they always land and take off during day time.
