Please could someone explain to me why First bank didnt call me for thier test o and is there room for gate crashing.

There may be the remote possibility that your state quota had been exhausted by other "potentially" more qualified applicants than you. I know FBN uses a quota system in recruitment, to make it balanced and fair. Keep your head up man!

I guess it has to do with your Age, I wasnt called as well, B.Eng Mech, 2.1, 28, better offers in d pipeline frnd!

I wonder why they did not call me as well.2.2 Chemical eng,27years.
But i initially thought it was only 2.1s they invited but with what i am seeing only God knows the criteria.Better luck to all next time

my three siblings were invited.they re fresh graduates (just finished NYSC).i guess it has got to do with year of graduation too or may be they ve other criteria.just keep your fingers crossed, your job will come.itz just a matter of time

I like the "State Quota" Response - Out of curiousity, which state would they use? Your state of origin or the state which your current address is?

Besides, First Bank didnt call anybody (No emails or texts either)!! My 2 friends that founf out they had been invited, found out after i told them what I read on Nairaland

You were to use your applicant number to check on their results site.
It would be a shame if all these people were waiting for phonecalls/ texts/emails

BtW- this just in: there were like 3 halls used, like 4000 people tested. WoW, that's crazy!

i got info from an insider cos i wasn't called too , he said due to excess applications, the age limit was reduced to 25 yrs eventually ie (1982),
