Port Harcourt is not better than Ala igbo in anyway and no Igbo person is prepared to turn Port Harcourt to Lagos or Abuja.

We are heading to Alaigbo in the East.

The mantra is invest home.

We simply do not give a fvck about Port Harcourt and it has nothing to offer us, maybe the ijaw can gain from Port Harcourt but as for Ndiigbo, una. (going home)

Abandong your region to turn urchin in another man territory.

If Ndiigbo get this one wrong, then sorry. Ndo!

Many of us are now awakening to the Aku luo uno concept.
The social media has really been a blessing to Ndiigbo more than any other group.
There is no mistake about it. Ndiigbo will not accept Ph airport. Our people know better now, information dissemination made easy since advent of internet had really done us whole lots of good. Ignorance driven thinking pattern are now making way for information directed ones.
It's really a new dawn. AIIA must succeed. There is no two ways about it. It's AIIA for Ndiigbo or nothing else. We have survived the machinations of the Ikwerre man (Amaechi) and other unforeseen forces who tried to kill Our AIIA.

Rotimi is a very stupid man if he is entertaining the idea of Ndiigbo coming to Port Harcourt like Lagos or Abuja.

It simply will not happen.

In fact, it will be resisted with animosity.

All roads lead to Ana-Igbo.

We will raise Cities in Igboland that will put Port Harcourt to shame, compete with Abuja and Lagos.

This is where we are.

We no day for that Port Harcourt international business.

We have pass that stage.

Our present position is develop East.

Igboland had it worst under Amaechi as the Transport minister.
We were totally shut out from the Chinese loan railway project, and it took a public uproar from us, to get the FG to review it.
It was also under Amaechi supervision as the minister of Transport that AIIA suffered the greatest neglect, while all effort were being made to upgrade his Ikwerre-Ijaw PH airport and foist it on us.

Ezigbote Olodo! Cities of reckoning in the next 13 years. With the economic and ratings nosedive of Nigeria since the lifeless pestilence took over, the nation is losing all positive integers. Of course I deliberately mentioned Lagos to drag you out and you didn't disappoint! Anyways, the purpose was to put Igbo cities in focus as regards such projection in the future. Igbo is one, from igbanke to Porthacourt.QED!

Its still the same thing. Those cities in that list are currently below the economic level of Lagos. Did you not also notice that Cairo, Johannesburg, Capetown, Durban and Nairobi did not also make the list? Lagos that you mentioned is already a megacity and is competing with other African giants in the top 4 largest African economies, Luanda and Der salam are children near Lagos.

Amaechi have decieved Buhari to waste his time in Port Harcourt rather than the Eastern capital of Enugu.

GEJ knew that all Port Harcourt needed was a Bus stop where aeroplane can land.

Buhari is a fool.

Ikwerre is not Igbo. I had tried as much as possible to see how I could be lenient on this conviction of mine, I took time to arrive at that conclusion. Those people have their own agenda. And they are so mean about those agenda that they don't mind throwing Ndiigbo under the bus to advance and achieve them. This is easy for them, because they have no iota of emotional/genetic attachment to us.

We must be ruthless, stoic and defiant, when dealing with issues concerning those people.

Amaechi in particular has been relentless in running anti Igbo agenda for the benefit of his Ikwerre people, ever since he assumed his post at the FG level, and this has been made easy for him, by those of us who are desperate to have him and his ilk say they are Igbos, even if it means overlooking their undercurrent group( in this case Ikwerre) agenda that is dangerous to Ndiigbo progress.

Making it clear that Ikwerreland is not Igboland, and hence, infrastructures sited in Ikwerreland cannot be said to represent Igboland. And also insisting that an Ikwerre man who's agenda is clearly an Ikwerre One, can't be an Igbo man, sounds to me like a very good way to start playing the SS politics.

They are clearly his primary target.
Amaechi is targeting the densely populated Southern Igboland ( Abia and Imo), they are the ones mostly targeted by that Ph airport nonsense.

We would need to appeal to their sense of Igbo unity, oneness and patroitism to make them resist that temptation, seeing how proximity factor makes Ph airport more convenient for them.
We must make them understand that for Igboland to progress, we all need to make tactical sacrifices.

Also, the government of Enugu must play her own role, by ensuring that the Aba-Enugu portion of Enugu-PH express road is in perfect condition. The SE governors should discuss these things in their meetings.
Intra state road networks connecting Enugu to Imo state need to be worked on and made 100% motorable.

A pan SE railway network, connecting Enugu to Owerri, Orlu, Okigwe, Umuahia, Aba, Arochukwu, Awka, Abakaliki, Onitsha, Nnewi, Ekwulobia, etc, is also a viable futuristic option and exactly what our governors should be discussing in their forum.

Problem is, some of us in diaspora can be quite dumb and naive, and can't see the obvious machinations against us by Igbo haters. They will ask why they should spend more to patronise Ethiopian and probably have a stopover at Bole airport when they could do it for less and fly direct to either Lagos or Port Harcourt!

Bros Paziezna, the bolded is easier said than done knowing how headstrong some of us can be!

Our enemies are aware we may try to do what you suggested and this is why they're already one step ahead of us by ensuring our federal roads remain shi/t and are riddled with pot-holes, mini-lakes and bushes, and why they've ignored the south-east in their high-speed railway constructions. Ever wonder why the Enugu-Port Harcourt rail link that was revitalised by GEJ has now been killed off?

If not anything else, you just have to admire these bastards capacity for sneakiness and guile! wink

I am glad our people have woken up and smelled the coffee.

What the FG is planning is to come up with some silly excuse of doing "Repairs" to close down Enugu airport. Then they will divert all Enugu airport traffic to Port Harcourt and Lagos and simply abandon the so called "Repairs" until Enugu airport is over grown by weeds and forest.

Exactly the same strategy they used to stop the Second Niger bridge project claiming to do "proper contract valuation". The Second Niger bridge has since become an abandoned project under the present regime.

Question should be wat was Rochas doing in APC?

Where Ndiigbo are suppose to be wise, they turn dull.

I sometimes wonder if it was not for STELLA ODUAH but rather an Igbo man appointed Aviation minister, if we would even have any airport in Enugu at all.

All I see is desertification. Must not know that herdsmen activity is related to a very close and growing Sahara. Look at examples of New Zealand and California. I know anything is better than nothing, but cinder block building in the middle of the village is what is being used to impress? In 2018?

People might say this is a pessimistic view, but when you look at these things from a global viewpoint, which is what I hope people will start to do at some point, you're comparing cinder block buildings with projects like maglev and HS2 in Europe. It's hard to look at some things and ohh and ahh. Just a point.

If you compare what is going on in Nigeria as a whole to the rest of the world, the work that it would take to get to a level of a Balkan state or war-torn Ukraine let alone Germany seems so exhausting to the point where it looks like it's even impossible.
