This is quite unfortunate. A teenage school boy is currently in pains with a broken leg after being a victim of an unfortunate circumstance in a school in Enugu state. According to reports, the student identified as Anthony Eugene broke his leg after his classroom collapsed while receiving lectures at Community secondary school, Okpanku, Aninri Local Government Area of the State. It has been gathered that the authorities rather than take him to a good hospital, decided to dump him in a local clinic in the village as his injured leg is being treated in a traditional way. Citizens are calling on the Enugu state governor, Ifeanyi Uguwanyi to come to the aid of the young boy and for him to be taken to a better hospital with advanced health facilities for his quick recovery. Look at secondary school, instead to hold their leaders accountable, they are looking for igbo unity At this age....look at a secondary school.... What they obtain here is half education which is equal to vanity. |

Officially unfollowed the thread. The osagyefo98 guy plus his 50 other monikers can now rest easy that he has destroyed this beautiful thread. What his motives are to do this and who he actually is...is left to him and God. Congratulations. He stays on this thread 24/7, showing he has nothing else to do. The thread taught me a lot tho...both good and bad. I appreciate pazienza and ckenneths. Any serious person here who wants to act on some of our earlier decisions and need my help can send me an email. See u all on the other end. 4 Likes 1 Share |

I also noticed, that the good people of Ngwo are also heavily involved in the culture of keeping fit, met hundreds of runners jogging this early morning, they even had their own Ogene with which to play the jogging songs 2 Likes

This thread is meant to unite Ndigbo...checking the topic reminds us of what pan-Igbo means...I beg people to refrain from insulting each other...every state or people has something good in them. This thread is meant to bring ideas that will make the region better...Suggestions are acceptable for any state that's not doing well like the others..but that should be conveyed in a way that is not rude, derogatory and insulting. Please, let's stop actions that will bring animosity and bitterness... We should be one...I don't see people from other tribes bragging about who is superior than the others...We should be our brothers' keepers. If people from other tribes try to use Igbo names to cause confusion...they should be ignored and they will fizzle out in no time. Enjoy the faces of pan-Igbo top females... God bless us all!! 4 Likes

Yyeske: Its funny you told him that because Okija people migrated from Ogidi in Idenmili, my next door neighbor. And Ogidi had western Igbo link and is related to Akili Ogidi in Ogbaru who are western Igbo descendants. But he had been here insulting Igala and Bini people...What a shame. 1 Like |

spyder880: Thanks for the quote bro. I will definitely keep you updated. This should be a community driven project and I'd say that your experience in this area will be greatly needed. The idea is to build a self-sustaining city without government money involved... I honestly don't believe in funds going through administrators to fund projects. Investors should be able to build everything themselves without a figurehead or ruler. It's important to create a framework and rules which they can build on. *First of all, a large land has to sourced. followed by a model of the city (physical model preferably.). and Rules have to be laid out to guide the investors. I am particularly interested in road construction... the express ways and inner roads specifically. These may require some form of administrative interventions. Question is, how can roads be constructed without the city administrators spending a dime on them. This is where investor comes in. Tolling is the usual way investors make money from roads they contruct. Nobody likes tolling. So I think the best alternative is to give the investors sides of the roads they wish to construct as incentives. They could lease them out to hotels, amusement parks, hospitals, mechanized farms or whoever they want to (as long as the projects are included in city's Masterplan) to help them generate income, maintain and expand the roads in the future. The Investors could also generate income from road advertisements. The community may not welcome this idea. So I think it would make sense to allocate 10% of income generated on the lands to the community.

Everything, that i have discussed here is Igbocentric. Yes we might not always agree over issues but Igbo should always be the priority. This is where, i stand. |

For me, Bianca Ojukwu remains the perfect Igbo woman. That is y, we must treat her like a Queen and appreciate her. Igbo dont have many women like her. There is a shortage and scarcity of Igbo women, due to inter-tribal marriages. 1 Like
