Recently the Vice Chancellor of Akwa Ibom State University - Prof. Eno J. Ibanga, was a guest in the Canopy segment of the Umbrella radio show, a weekly magazine program that airs on Planet FM 101.1 Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. During the more than 50mins encounter, the anchor of the program - Comr. Ini Ememobong asked far-reaching questions that bordered on the Akwa Ibom State University of the now and of the future.

PROF. ENO IBANGA : Nigerian students are the best…. What they need is just a conducive environment and as the Dean of Students and now a Vice Chancellor, the best am doing to raise the confidence of the Nigerian students is to give them facilities and good administration. When these are in place, definitely they will perform. In a market, there are good and bad ones. Don’t dwell on the bad ones.
