The Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Agboola Dabiri, said the state government would not go back on its words to make all illegal homes non-existent. .

The commissioner said 20 of the rescued children were being rehabilitated in government homes across the state. He added that three of the children, who were identified as physically challenged with Down syndrome, were in a hospital, while one was also ill and had been admitted to an undisclosed hospital.

the best way to know if the church gives to orphans and widows is through the schools that they build. if a church can build a school and charge so much for school fees neglecting the children of widows and orphans who cannot pay the fees, how can they claim to help orphans and widows that we cannot see? their members will claim that the lecturers are paid but the private jet you park in the airport hanger you pay higher for maintenance and parking space. if orphans cannot go to those schools and widows cannot pay the tuition then there is no way you will give anything tangible to widows behind the camera.

. I agree with you brother. It's just that most government owned organisations are manned by greedy people who bask on every little opportunity to siphon money meant for others. They wnat to have custody of those kids to get money for their own personal gain I tell you. They will later complain of being sidelined and not funded, meanwhile they get funds from both govt and private individuals.

From my little research, both the legal and illegal ones are avenues for child trafficking. More than 90% orphanages in Nigeria are child trafficking mafias.
