Monday morning traffic is caused by the influx of people who show up on Monday to 'show face' and then disappear till next Monday. Friday traffic is caused by the outflow of people out of the city and into the suburbs and villages to spend the weekend there. also worthy of mention is the last Friday of the month (just after payday) and the weekday before a public holiday. |
