Our focus should be Electricity which is the foundation. Without stable electricity, telecommunication remains where it is no matter the amount spent on it.

You're the one that's not smart here. How do you use tech without stable power supply? We pay so much for data and even calls because telcos are using generator to power their services.

Also, of what sense does it make to add more to the National debt? What I expected is bringing investment to Nigeria.

Even though I despise foreign powers milking Africa, but one thing I like about China is, they don't meddle into developing countries and 3rd world countries's affairs like US, UK and France. They are strictly for business.

Exactly, constant electricity helps encourage FDI and it also improved economic activities and therefore dampening future recession.
