There is a crook their his initials are O.O
He had the best chance to turn this country around especially since he came out from prison to the throne and was seen as a demi god but he threw that chance away, built ota farm in his village disguised as a federal national farm later it was discovered the farm was documented as personal the nation was deceived and was gunning for 3rd term some how he managed to avoid all scandals and defeated his adversaries who were too scared to expose him. But he exposed his vice and others

There are only two names on the list: Yar'ad us and others.
His seven point agenda is comparable to none.
He started the dredging of the River Niger before his death.
Sadly, the succeeding administrations abandoned his good works to Nigeria.

No, the 4th is a myth. It's pure propaganda. It's institutions that fight corruption.

Controversy, hate, fun and happiness is the simplest watchword to describe Nigeria. Everyone is suffering and smiling, but during the course of time, few people made a great impacts in the progress and downfall of Nigeria.

Let’s take you for a ride, into our mind blowing, heart flowing and greatest discoveries ever.

1. Yar Adua

The name Yar Adua rings a bell every time, because his contributions to the growth and development of Nigeria was cut short too quickly by "DEATH" .

Yar’adua who took over from, former President Olusegun Obasanjo on May 29, 2007 died before the completion of his four years office tenure. The news was a brute shock to nation at large. His notable achievements are:

The Niger-Delta Amnesty Programme which revived hundreds of youths in Nigeria. Those that took arms against the state were disarmed peacefully.

2. Goodluck Jonathan

The most hated Nigerian president.

"No Nigerian Blood Is Worth His Political Ambitions"

Goodluck Jonathan was simply the best president after the late Yar Adua. He was the vice president to the late Yar Adua administration. One of his notable achievement was:

He conceded defeats in the lights of ensuring the safety and progress of every Nigerian, void of ethnic, religious and propaganda conflict. His loud actions quickly gained him recognition globally.

3. Olusegun Obasanjo

Olusegun Obasanjo became a notable enigma to be reckoned with, when he successfully became the president of Nigeria straight out of prison, and was able to retain his position longer than any other presidents thereafter.

His tenure brought about progress and leveled changes to the continuity of the country directly and indirectly.

Obasanjo established the EFCC and ICPC and also strengthened the Code of Conduct Bureau to fight corruption in Nigeria. This was the dawn of peace and the rebirth of criminals negotiating with the force.

Nigeria was crippled with debts, but his adminstration secured $18 billion debt relief from the Paris and London clubs and got Nigeria free of debt.

4. Mohammed Buhari

Crime busting, crime fighting is what his administration is known for. But aside this attributes, let's show you other achievements :

- tax revenue increased to N1.17 trillion in the first quarter 2018, a 51 per cent increase on the first quarter 2017 figure.

-revenue tripled from N700 million in 2015 to N2 billion in 2016, and again rose to N3.5 billion in 2017.

You can always tell when someone was born in the 2000s in Nigeria. They have no sense of history. OBJ is the main reason Nigeria is one of the most corrupt countries in the world. The man single handedly destroyed the Nigerian psyche by saying corruption is OK. He institutionalized it. During IBB and Abacha's regime, people were still kinda scared to steal funds but not under OBJ. You guys must learn your history or are doomed to continue to make the same mistakes over and over again.

obviously written by a lazy youth with no sense of history

Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi weve not recovered from the coup that brought him to power, started the chain of military coups. Abacha, Muritala,IBB, Buhari,Danjuma planned the counter coup adn acquired the taste for power......negative for Nigeria

Gowon; civil war, kept the country together (like it or not) still the best leader weve had by far. ......positive

Obasanjo: Both times he was head of state he failed to position the country on a path for greatness by imposing stooges and weak leaders to succeed him and this we missed the opportunity. Any leadership he helped impose had led to more problems. ......2 x negative

IBB: killed the pysche and moral fabric of the country. Today's lazy youth and fantastic corruption are a result of IBB's leadership, anulled 1992 elections and led to Abacha which in turn led to the crooks we find in power today. ....negative

Guy you know your history well and interpret facts without prejudice. You try. Yaradu'a and jonathan including Ernest Shonekan are the worst leaders in Nigeria's short history. They make Shagari and NPN look like political geniuses.

Yar Adua tried. Very notable
how did yaradua try biko. He destroyed our stock market 'reversed the sale of Nepa for political reasons. Reintroduced and dropped subsidy payments to make fuel available. Fought a super redecimalisation policy(20 naira). Through sanusis bigotry destroyed two of our most powerful banks (oceanic and intercontinental) . Then destroyed our thriving stock market. All these within 2yrs as a msn spending most of his time in clinics. What irks me with Nigerian youths is the inability to research or even decipher destructive policy implications. I laugh when I see ppl abuse obj. For the record. I'm igbo. His legacies even with a recession in buharis tym still stand ie the debt cancellation is something generations will keep thanking him. Telecoms ,banking ,maritime ,post services, cable tv, indigenous oil service firms. We need to drop the sheep mentality.

All thanks to the initiator of TSA that led to the increment in revenue and closure of government lob holes since 2015 . After Yar adua , Jonathan follows as the best so far that value human lives more than his political ambition ,religion, ethnicity, COW .
I believe the northern elites and former generals coerced Jonathan to concede to make way for Buhari as to retain presidency in the north. Otherwise, there was no outright win for APC. Yar'adua and Jonathan takes the day.
