cantell there is absolutely in trying to sell your cards, but when u begin to downplay or discredit recent developments which could affect your potential buyers of the cards,it shows an act of desperation & i think you really need to calm down,& reason with facts.you may not lose at the end. |

@Ilish, Thats great. On your combination, Atlantic Bird 4 C Band attracted my attention. There is no listing of Atlantic Bird 4 C Band on either Flysat or Lyngsat. What are you watching on that bird? Pls provide me with some tps so that I can give it a try. Same thing with Intel 904, what kind of channels are you getting since Lyngsat does not list much?? I will continue striving to get my own 10 port Disec, otherwise I am currently using two 4 port disecs connected to my 4669x and Fortec 5400 Receivers. |

solo1ng1:I've taken enough of your rantings. If you have a problem with dstv or dstieves like u guys chose to call them, why not take it up to them? You're here in a public forum whining like a spoilt brat because you can lay your hands on a keyboard? I never for once forced anyone to buy my card but guys like u prefer to run people down & create chaos for no just cause. You've said ur piece and everybody can see that. Its time to let it go. I'm trader and i don't give up. Call it desperation, call me a selfish sales agent, i don't give a damn. If i'm so much concerned about people like you, then i'll probably be in a secluded island eating palm kernels for breakfast. borderline:The guy wants to discredit me and i find it annoying cos we've never had problems or anything before. Tell me, if it were George D or Badaru that wants to sell this card, would it be a problem? I guess not! So even if i don't sell the cards here, i can find another way to sell it. Like i said earlier, i only want to sell because i have to. I've being here for a few years even though i barely have time to comment or experient. I mostly read. Call it selfish but can someone make a good contribution without experimenting? Thru this forum I found a cheaper way of enjoyin satellite tv and the dstv card is of no use to me. If you're at the verge of setting up a 2.4m dish, would dstv card be of any use to you? |
Re: Official Thread Of Free To Air Satellite Tv (part 5 - The Final Part) by solo1ng1: 2:11pm On Aug 31, 2010 |
First you said u wre broke, now it's 2.4m dish, George n Badaru u mentioned will never ignore such info on fta, especially things that may have negative effect on the long run, A lot of people sells stuffs here without issues, even myself wanted to self my daarsat decoder sometime, but i realise its better to give to relatives than sell it off, Anything relating to paytv that is not done through them directly could have effect in anyway, they are the operators and most of them don't give a damn on customers, expecially dstv, they employed good analysts who are working day/night in making sure they maximise return on their investment, And if you must sell this card by fire by thunder, i advice you go to computer village or alaba, b4 u say jack, it's gone and enough money go dey ur pocket to enjoy That is called anonymous sales, |
Re: Official Thread Of Free To Air Satellite Tv (part 5 - The Final Part) by cantell(m): 3:41pm On Aug 31, 2010 |
cantell:Is there any mention of being broke in the above sentence? I just wanted to reduce my expense sheet, thats all. So stop putting words into my mouth. I never wanted to say the reason why i'm selling but you kept on pushing and i had to tell even though i wasn't supposed to. solo1ng1:You think i'll be here if i can sell it easily to traders in alaba or onitsha? Those guys are my tribesmen and i know them too well. Take a 2wks old 4669x to them and i bet the highest bid you'll get wouldn't be anything more than 5k. I bought the card with my hard-earned money and instead of selling it off like that, i prefer to keep it or try my luck here. A member in the fta equipment thread is selling his fairly used decoder for 12k while the new one is 14k. Does it mean he's tryin to milk people dry?(thats what you said i was doing) He probably bought that decoder 17k and it came down to 14k. I vaguely remember that a member(alancruise i think) wanted a dstv smartcard and i've recieved txts from some members showing interest. Are they not fta enthusiasists? If you hate paytv guys, it doesn't mean some other people don't like them. |

@ cantell, do not 4get dat those old smartcards did not drop frm heaven, they all came with their respective dstv decoders NOT strong. If anybody is using strong for dstv its either u think #10k for swaping isnt wort it, or u just want to split ( which is largely common). Its possible because decoder stil yapa 4 multichoice & dey have d right to do it, just to marry card to dstv decoder ALONE. You've done d best tin by postin @ d fta mkt. For here, WE GO ALWAYS SAY D TRUTH & NOTHIN BUT D TRUTH. |

@CANDYMAN,The Atlantic Bird is one at 5.0w and the Intel 604 is one at 64.E.I have also managed to marry w7 and Intel802(Where etv is) using 1 dish with 2 ku lnbs. Its simple. |
