@all,i want to know whether the modified cover for invacom lnb has any effect on signal.@freshp,someone told me that nilesat signal dropped when there is so much sun and i experience such yesterday around 11am-4pm,my mbc at 54 drop to 49-50 but the picture is ok,jsc sport at 53 lost picture then later comeback in the evening to 50%

@all NILESAT & BADR4,5,6 which one is beta b/c i watch epl chelsea vs tot last sunday on ABUDHABI sports 5 (which is on badr according to lyngsat.)

I say your post on page 60, i must say i am so so impressed with it, to me i would really love to be able to install dishes for tracking all FTA starting from dish 90cm to the biggest which can be 1.8 -3m for the greatest satelite available to us in Africa.
  I would appreciate it if there is a easy way like a tutorial in which i could learn how to do the installation because currently i am on Sirus and W2A using 2 different dishes but would love to go a step higher to the almighty Nilesat.
   Please let me know or if there isnt any toturial of such maybe if i am ready anyone can asist in the installation which i can also learn from and practise.

All what you need to install dishes from intelsat 7/10 ku up to nilesat has been exhaustively discussed in seasons 3 & 4 of this thread. Kindly go back and read. Also there is a thread on the child board dedicated solely to nilesat installations. You will find useful info there.

our friends from kenya on the international forum are saying a new generation platform,'KISS TV',has began operations & that 'they' have rights for UCL,BUNDESLIGA & some EPL MATCHES.the source even said they showed the europa cup match involving lastnight. there is however no fix on the bird they are on presently nor is there any concrete website for them. one thing is for sure,if they are active & trackable within our yards,we should all be forthcoming with any news we have on them. there is no harm in giving them a trial.

That channel has been there for a very long time.If you remember very well this year they partnered with KBC1 to show the world cup on w4/w7 when the kenyan mux was still around.Unfortunately for us,their beams are no where near our backyard unless ofcourse,someone with a dish that has off beam tracking capability i.e. it can track fringe satellites.If my memory serves me right i think they were on nss12 ku.I'm not sure where they are now.

That is true l have this reported to me some days ago and also the new tp for mnet and co on w4 are not show,l conplained to multi tv and told me they know and becouse their channel do not need that sound format and it does they have upgrade ready which will be send thru satellite for automatic upgrade.l suggest we get to know the brend and get upgrade for our friends.thank you

@ the transponder given is invalid. Check and give it again. @all pls dont just mention pay tv here, whether they go or not Fta will live. Just forget about them, they are just wetting ur appetite

Well all you have to do is rescan after deleting the Tp and inputing again.I'm sure it will come up.

why is it that with quality as high as 92, the feeds on sirius 4.8 either don't come out or freeze like hell and i just can't see any thing? the quality of the feed is 65.

i experienced the problem sometimes ago and i just attributed it to the fact that maybe my 2.4m mesh has shifted a bit
may be its the weather.

The fact is that there are 2 freq for the feeds. Just blindscan again. You'll get another one that will not freeze.

C-band signal can be best received on prime-focus dish, i guess your 1m dish will be an offset one, so there's really no difference between that and 90cm ku dish.

I have been trying to track W6 with my 90cm dish using 2M TP here in Ph without any success is any one experiencing this?
