Check well bro, You must have gotten a refusal Doc stating the reasons they denied you visa. If you applied online, you will see the document in ur profile, and if u applied through paper route, you will need to go pick up ur Passport and refusal letter from VFS.When you do that, come back to the house and share the reasons for ur refusal, so we can start from there. Meanwhile when did you apply and also What route? would be expecting ur feedback. Peace
You are right Sir, they sent it with my passport, was waiting to see it online and I never knew it would be with my passport, I waited for their response since November. I just got my passport 2days ago with the letter.
Will share my profile and the letter soon.

Hi,

1. I am her sponsor. She is my niece
2. She paid nothing. Not a cent. Hang on, I think we only paid application fee(100CAD or so) for the course but no fees no nothing
3. One thing I have learned in my years in obodo oyibo is sometimes less is more. I only showed proof of 1 yr tuition/ living expenses as per their requirement. To answer your question, her one year living expenses/tutition e.t.c is about 6.5 million Naira. I had that amount in one of my accounts so I used that account. I did not provide statements of all my bank accounts. Just the one

I printed out bank statement online and submitted. No bank stamp on the statement just regular online statement

This is a clear example that there is no blueprint for this Canada visa thingy. All one needs is to do their best and seek for God's favour to locate their application at the processing visa office. Congratulations to your niece.

Yeah, sometimes "less is more". CIC don't scrutinize applications from outside Nigeria (or countries whose economy is doing well) like they do to those from Nigeria. CIC sees almost every applicant applying from Nigeria as someone trying to run away from the country. There use to be a time when once an applicant from Nigeria pays his/her tuition fee is guaranteed TRV but now paying tuition fee doesn't guarantee TRV. Even some people with full scholarship get. delayer due to fund(you can imagine).
May God see our country (Nigeria ) through

Good evening everyone in the house. please I need some advice from the gurus in the house. Please what school can I apply for in Canada with a 2.2 gpa in law and what alternative course can I apply for since most law schools require 2.1 gpa for masters in law program. I’m seriously waiting for some useful advice.

Thank you in advance

You are right though. God help Nigeria. My prayer is that everyone will one day experience a working system.

What I meant by less is more is, sometimes the more information we give, the more they scrutinize. I know people have been denied visas citing lack of sufficient funds as a reason, people with 100million in their account have also been refused visa, no one size fits all. I thought about getting a statement of all my accounts but thought against it. I personally(my opinion)wouldn't use an acct with say 100 million or even 50 million in it to apply for a student visa. If I was a VO I would say to myself "this person is trying too hard" Again, that's just me ooo.

By the way my niece is in Nigeria.

I would recommend you Google Canadian colleges that offer legal courses...check their admission requirements..apply, get admission then come back to ask questions concerning getting a visa

My opinion, you can decide to send 5M to your acccount at once. All you need to do is explain clearly who sent the money to you and why (Attach your SOA and the SOA with which your sponsor used to send the money. This shows proof the money came from your sponsor).

When I applied last year, over 9M was sent to my account within 2 weeks. I used some of the money to get admission, sort out application and paid almost 2.5M to make deposit to my school and was left with about 6M when I applied. I used that same account for my TRV application (Attached my mothers business SOA as support document because the money came from that account and to show she has a business with good cash flow and CAC certificate).

What you need to do is explain the source. Make sure your explanation makes sense to even a dunce. Always, Always, Always assume the Visa officer knows nothing. You can make a table detailing the date the money left your sponsors account and the day it reflected in your account.

After explaining who transferred the money, attach proofs such as letter of employment, SOA of the sponsor and so forth. If the sponsor does not bear same surname, put a diagram explaining how he relates to you (family tree). Finally, WHY has he/she decided to sponsor you? Make sure you give a very good reason.

You can say your dad's dad helped him wen his family was struggling financially..now sees sponsoring you now is a way to show his deepest appreciation for what your grand dad did..... nobody can actually type or write an SOP for u...u need to Google it...wen u are done, I can proof read it for u..though am not an expert o..

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by makano: 7:28pm On Feb 02, 2019
The statement isnt correct. Medical result is valid for one year. If someone gets refused and applies within the duration of a year of doing upfront medicals, that medical result is still very much valid. Medical result is for a year and gets invalid after a year. Peace
042viber12:
Pls people rushing to go do upfront medicals immediately after submission, despite the fact upfront medicals fastens it and by "fastens" it means it will still stay the normal 3-5months or hopefully less, wen it gets to the eligibility review stage, it goes directly to passport request... mind u, cic doesn't care if u do the Medicals..if u are denied..its more like u have wasted money on doing it...I believe even we u reapply, u will still do another medical(might be wrong shaa) I urge if u are doing upfront medicals, wait for at least 2months after submission..so dat by the 2months, u will probably have a clue wea your application progress is...
