A former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, has retrieved his passports from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
This is despite a directive by the Federal Government that 50 persons under investigations for fraud exceeding N50m are restricted from travelling. Obanikoro, who has an American passport and a Nigerian one had his passports released to him. The former minister also travelled out Wednesday on grounds of medical check up while ex Governor of Osun state Ayo Fayose languishes in EFCC custody amidst the commission rights violation cited by his lawyers.
