The lawmaker representing Ovia Federal Constituency, Hon Omosede Igbinedion has empowered hundreds of women farmers from Ovia North East Local Government Area.

The empowerment scheme took place at Ekaladeran primary school Okada which witnessed the PDP lawmaker distributing various items ranging from cash grants to farming tools and others.
Also hundreds of youths were presented with motor cycles.
Hon Omosede Igbinedion who made the presentation said it was in fulfilment of her electioneering campaigns and it cuts across party lines saying her vote was an endorsement from the people of Ovia who bestowed trust on her and believed she is capable of quality representation in the federal legislative house.
She further said it was an ongoing initiative that would go round all the constituents and called for patience for those that are yet to benefit.

Responding the beneficiaries who spoke to reporters showed their joy and prayed for Omosede Igbinedion ,they spoke of her quality representation so far while expressing the belief that she would live above board in effective representation and be fair to all.

Omosede Igbinedion also recently donated relief materials to flood victims from the over flow of the Ovia River .
