THE NIGERIAN VULTURE

Once i saw a vulture on a stick,
So well fed, healthy and thick.
She was unlike a real scavenger...
Not so similar to those in tales we see..
Suddenly, she stared towards me!

Noticing how confused i was like a lost passenger.
She then shouted: ' I know what you're thinking..
'How i managed to be fleshy?' Listen!..

'Nigeria is really a green pasture for wild birds.
Every little diatance i fly, i come across new bodies lying dead.
How i wished my brothers heed to my warning..
To fly away from countries where they will starve to death.
One is in Ghana..There, he feeds on rubbish and dirts.

Another in Sao tome, Every night he sleeps hungry.
The last one in congo? Can feed on a head for two weeks...
Here in Nigeria, I ignore human head. They lack good meat.

See, I like flying to the north east...
After bombing, i feed on butchered or burnt meat...
The only challenge is digging into dead soldier's 'khaki'.
The south south region is a farmland for incomplete bodies..
Probably, they were used for rituals, kidnapped buddies!!

I get a 'full packaged' meal in south west cult clashings.
One time in the East, i ate a whole sacrificed body..
Nigeria is really blessed with good meals. This is my happy story!!
