The 3rd Force Presidential Candidate and candidate of People's Trust, Mr Olawepo Hashim has launched a campaign to stop recycling leaders in Nigeria, ahead of the 2019 presidential election.

In a campaign launched on his social media platforms both on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter @gohashim2019, the frontline candidate who is now in prime position to challenge the dou of APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari and PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar stated that, if we stop recycling leaders, Nigeria GOH Better.

The stated also that, "“What we need now is a new generation of leaders. We no longer need the cabal anymore. We cannot accept a situation where we accommodate multiple pension-receiving individuals. I mean those who have been living on government expenses in ages"

“The nation certainly needs fresh ideas on how to develop the economy, unite and secure the country, which the political elites recycling themselves in power have not been able to offer. Next year (2019) must be the breaking point from the legacy of poverty and misery which politicians represent,” he stated.

What do you think about recycling leaders?

A house divided against itself cannot stand. Why can't all the third force candidates adopt one person;right now they look very unserious. Apc and pdp already zoned the presidency to the north again,so why is he wasting his time?....

That guy started early. He shouldn't stop the movement after the election. With what I'm seeing the movement is going to be massive with time. Those who didn't believe in the movement,we have no choice than to join when they see the progress.
Sowore and many of his supporters knows that he can't win 2019 but they want to use his popularity to champion the takeitback movement. It is certain that without buying election he will come third with significant votes and we all can take it back from there come 2023. It is a long term plan. AAC had my votes and that of my circle of influence any day any time.

Hashim is always building consensus. 10 political parties have already adopted him.

Sowore and others should support him. He has what it takes

Only a fool does the same thing and expects a different result

PMB promised to make 1#=1$....

Atiku and Obasanjo mismanaged lots of FG’s owned assets and failed to pay Nigerian Airways staff their meagre pensions.

That’s just one in many of their ills.

But these new guys don’t hold a chance under this current structure of godfatherism. The problem is that election is won at the grassroot level (local level corruption) - and to get the elites - you need a sound economic and foreign policy template that is clear and workable.

I doubt they possess any. The best bet is to go for the guy that makes the promises of restructuring and will “implement same by devolving lots of power to lower tiers “. Until then - I fear the whole recycling is bound to continue - as long as the centre is so attractive!

Luckily for us, Hashim has massive grassroots structures across the 36 states, not just in states, but local governments and wards.

He started his publicity late, but the grassroots structure is massive.

He stand better chance than anyone else. If others can team up with him, that would be great

Sowore started this since with his takeitback movement. I would have preferred him to team up with Sowore and not contest individually because comparing from campaign so far, Sowore seems to be the only one giving the major PDP/APC a run for their money

Hashim actually started much earlier. But while Sowore and co were doing the media thing, he was more focused on grassroots structures. So far, he has better grassroots structures than any one. He didn't only have structures in 36 states, he also have them in local governments and wards.

This placed him in a much better position than anyone else.

Sowore and others should team up with him to give the two devils a chase

More than half of the voting populace comprise of the youth less than 40 years of age. If we all vote this guy and give youth a chance it won't be a bad thing. But no! We won't, we prefer fighting ourselves over a corrupt 72 year old Àtiku and a Clueless 76 year old Buhari. Yet we want Naija to be on the same level with Modern nations. How? When you kill yourselves to put a septugenarian in power and you expect change

We are voting for him. Many just needed to make that decision once and for all. This is a better option for Nigeria and we are supporting him

Honestly, GOH is really trying with his campaign team on awareness and sensitization. If it were in saner climes, he'd be a force to reckon with..

However over here, the two old recycled politicians vying for presidency under the 2 major political parties feels it's either one of theirs birthright to be next president..

I don't blame them though, it's we the unserious electotates who have given them such audacity as our mumu never do

We Will support him. Many more people are really into GOH. Trust me, this guy is a big deal.

Let's all do our part by starting conversations about him on our individual platforms

I don’t understand why a reasonable person will support APC or PDP. These two parties have nothing to offer. Indeed they both have recycled mofos! If Mr. A isn’t getting what he wants from party A he runs to party B (political prostitutes).

We need new faces and ideas in our government. No government has even brought initiatives on how to reduce expenses and costs, how to generate more income, how to improve the educational and medical sectors... so pathetic!

They only care about their wages. So funny that NO state except Lagos is self sufficient, and they are not bothered.
and u think with the set of dumbos we have as youths think in that direction heck no, I am a youth but in as much as pole are shouting Atiku my mind keep telling me Atiku would turn out a disappoint like buhari why don't we vote sawore, Hashim and or this kowa instead cos at the end voting PDP or APC would end I. lost of vote n we would come here again to shout

I don't know when he started his "takeitback" like agenda but he only came to limelight just recently. You and I have always known Sowore since Yar'aduas period and some people far back since 1992 when he was fighting for democracy. And on whether he has better structure than Sowore, time will tell.
Instead of asking Sowore to team up with him, he should better team up with his fellow ANN presidential candidate Fela Durotoye.

Anyone following the campaign keenly would certainly know that Hashim has the most formidable grassroots structures.

Hashim is building alliance across party lines. I am sure you have read about his adoption by 10 political parties.

He his not stopping at all, he his building more consensus.

If you take a look at the list released by INEC, you will not argue over this

The we as used in the post is referring to myself and several others who have been following the campaign since it started. Yes, you may be aware of him this year, but many had been following since the late 80's when he led the student movement against the Structural Adjustment Prograamme (SAP) in what is today known as the anti sap protest. They followed him to the civil society as he and others are founders of Commitee for Defence of Human Rights (CDHR) where he served as founding secretary. They also followed him to G34, where was one of the youngest member, leading to the formation of PDP, where he served as founding assistant publicity secretary in 1999 as the youngest national officer.

He was one of the first set of people to leave PDP during OBj regime, due to ideological reason even though he was supposed to be a beneficiary of illegality, he choose to walk away to concentrate on his business.

The GOHashim campaign is in 36 states, not just in states, but in all 774 local government and wards. Those who formed these structure are part of the 'we'.

The several admirer of GOH that have keyed into the loudable vision of transforming our economy from $410billion to $4trillion are also part of the we

The over 10 political parties that have also adopted him as their presidential candidates are also part of the we.

There are several millions of others who are part of this we, we are the we and i know that you may also want to be part of it.
