IMO GUBER: OPPOSITION MEMBERS ENDORSE OKEY EZEH
Indications have emerged within the week that the Imo State Governorship Candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Sir Okey Ezeh has become the preferred choice of very many members of the other political parties in the State.
The political parties include PDP, APC, APGA and UPP. Investigations by a Newspaper revealed that the Campaign Office of the accomplished banker turned politician located at New Owerri has become a political Mecca, as various groups drawn from many parties visit every now and then to endorse Sir Ezeh, who many of them describe as the only credible option left in the gubernatorial race.
A PDP stalwart, Dr. Emma Onwuneme, who led the Council of Orlu Political Associations, COPA, to give their endorsement on Wednesday told this Newspaper that the 2019 governorship election in Imo State will be decided by the people themselves.
According to him, "That decision will be guided by one thing: Who among these candidates has a better development program, has credibility, has spotless integrity and has the youthfulness to deliver? Certainly, Okey Ezeh is the answer. This is why we are here," he said.
