WHAT HAS A GIANT OR LIMP OF AFRICA HAS TO OFFER ITS YOUTH IF I MAY ASK? AND YOU EXPECT THEM TO SIT AND WATCH AS THEY WASTE AWAY IN THERE HOUSE GUYS OR GALS ANSWER THE QUESTION. NO JOBS AND YOUNG SECONDARY SCHOOL LEAVERS WASTE AWAY WITH NOTHING TO DO AND END UP ENGAGED IN YAHOO-YAHOO OR INTERNET FRAUD WHICHEVER. BUT LET ME REMIND YOU B4 THE INTERNET CAME FRAUD WAS ALREADY GOING ON IN NIGERIA THRU THE MAILING OF LETTERS THRU NIPOST WOULD YOU SAY IT WAS THE YOUTHS WHO HAD NO JOBS OR SOME EVIL NIGERIANS WANTING TO EARN EXTRA CASH AND BECOME RICH? EVEN IN OUR TERTIARY UNIVERSITIES AND POLY. STUDENTS AND EVEN UNDERGRADUATES AND GRADUATE ALIKE DO ENGAGE IN THIS ACT IRRESPECTIVE OR TRIBE OR RACE AND WE SIT HERE AND POST NONSENSE AND BLAME IT ON THE IGBO MAN. IS THE IGBO MAN THE PRESIDENT OF THIS COUNTRY. Jakumo and Co Keepon blaming Igbos for Nigerian problems. Just follow my instructions, list your tribe ,tell us your prominent people in Nigerian government that are performing. Igbos get beaten for Nigerian ills. You want to tell me that TI's ranking of Nigeria as one of the most corrupt countries in the world is attributable to igbos. Alams arrest in london was caused by Igbos. Afolabi, Sagem and national ID scam was caused by Igbos, Atiku and OBJ scandal was caused by Igbos. http://www.nigerianmuse.com/essays/?u=Ten_top_corruption_cases.htm 10 Top Corruption Cases in Nigeria as of April 4, 2005. Do your calculation and tell me if all Igbos should be prosecuted for “perpetuating” these crimes |

Sista: Does your image matter to you as a person?W hy should we not ppotray a finer image as a nation. We have a greater number o hardworking Nigerians than the "yahoo boys". But try applying for a visa somewhere, they'll sooner grant Japanease or Ukrainian ten times over before they consider a Nigerian. A Nigerian schooling in London told me their class is supposed to go on field trip to Utah, all the Nigerians in his class with the exception of one married man were refused the American visa. Yet, an indian girl in his class got 12 years, when they had all applied for 3 weeks. [b]Why should we not worry about what other people think? BBC and CNN give news with facts. It's not only our bad side they potray. I remember watching a documentry last year about the computer village in Lagos. They showed these illiterate(without formal education) Ibo boys assembling parts of computers and clips of some computer schools run by these Igbos. Which other country can you find something like that. |

superman: @superman, Yours is a classic example of the saying "Truth Hurts". You want to browbeat the white for slavery, but you are uncomfortable with "Effurun Juju", "gbomo-gbomo" and "Okija". If we want to solve our problems dear, we have to look inwards. |

look the truth is nigerians on the larger side are generally indiciplined and corrupt, majority-wise we lack moral fibre, igbo, yoruba, hausa or whatever other minority tribe, we are all guilty of the situation nigeria find itself in, we can keep blaming it on eachother but the truth is we sit on arse and blame the next person or the government for one thing or the other, what good does that do in the end, we need to learn to stand together for what's right (back in the day i used to say lord lugard was a mad man for pitchin' one tent for over 300 tribes but the solution is not to dwell in the past or dwell on our differences, the solution is to focus on our strength as a people, the united states boasts every nationale in the world and finds strength it in too) there are a lot mo' corrupt countries in the world but those countries still run the rule of law, nigeria doesn't simply because nigerians don't respect the laws of their land or any other land's for that matter, i don't blame western media for broadcasting a black nigeria, i blame nigerians for the chaos that is nigeria, we are the ones that sell ourselves short and at the end of the day each look to his or her own greedy hearts to find a way to enrich ourselves, moral decadence in nigeria transcends tribal issues, it's a collective vice, |

more indians ,americans, japanese, british and many more countries are logged on to the internet at anytime than Nigerians , so if being online at such odd time is a sign that one is involved them those countries should be called scammers and fraudsters too,as we talk here yahoo and google scientists might gbe online now cracking their brains on how to overtake each other with more innovative products ,does that make them scammers too ? |
