They also cut their young children as well as themselves on a certain date... a ritual which is not part of Islam

They also believe that the bodies of living non believers are impure in physical sense and they wash their bodies whenever they come in contact with one and there is wetness

they do not agree with the Muslims that Abu Bakr should be the first Caliph... rather they regard Abu Bakr, Umar as unfortunate fellows when these are the number one and number two most pious of this Ummah after the Prophet himself as said by the Prophet himself

and many more

So are all these part of Islam? Oga educate urself

The Prophet already prophecized that we will divide into seventy three sects.. all of which will be in the hell fire except one.. and that one are those who stand on what the Prophet and his companions stood on

So that means there are people who will appear as Muslims but they are misguided... nd without doubt, Shia is one of them

If this is true, this will not be the first time we are having a deviant govt in the Ummah

Many imams from the past suffered more than that from the government for standing upon the true methodology of Islam

Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal was jailed and severely tortured for saying and stand upon it that the Quran is not a creation of Allaah, rather a word from Allaah.... while the reigning govt then wanted the saying and ideology that Quran is a creation to prevail

Is that not similar to this case now?

Imam ibn Taymiyyah was jailed twice too gor supporting the truth... is that not similar?

Even in contemporary world.. people like Shaykh Al Munajjid, the founder of the popular website, Islamqa.info and some other scholars were jailed too

So man.. educate urself again... i told u that this ummah will divide into sects.. most of which are misguided

And some times, the rulers are following a misguided sect just like during the time of the Imam Ahmad i mentioned up there... nd if that happens, things like this occur

And for the fact that the ruler or govt did something still does not necessarily mean, it is endorsed by Islam

A govt may be led by a bad or deviant leader

for example, the King of Saudi Arabia shakes hands with women.. does that make it permissible in Islam?

Some of the royal princesses of the arab world dont wear proper hijab, wear heavy make up, dont cover their adornments in presence of strange men, shake hands with opposite sex, attend worldly parties where haram things are done, etc... does that make all that permissible in Islam?

Again educate urself before u spew another failure not only on Nairaland but anywhere in the world
