@skmoda 360,tnx 4 d questn but d last ans cannot be (B)

3.which is the next number in the series? 18, 13, 9, 6, 4.
[a] 1
[b] 2
[c] 3
[d] 4

solution:
u can either add or  substract
let's start frm d first number which is 18.
18-5 =13
13-4=9
9-3=6
6-2=4
definitely d next number should be 1 which is

4-1=3,so therefore,i was right! d option (C) 3 is the ans.
pls check.tnx

thx taosola, this wil bring us to d conclusion dat for any cheap looking question u see, it demands a multiple thought. i believe u must hav seen sumthing dat would hav made u said that bt in my dictionary here it says "have your cake & eat it", so i will be very wrong to say "u can't have your cake & eat it" & besides i've seen dis qouatation in several advance write-ups, could u pls confirm very well?.thx

You are very correct my friend. I still instist that the correct idiom is "you can't have your cake and eat it." If you look at the cambrige dictionary of idioms where examples are given, then you will see a typical example that says:

"You can't have your cake and eat it. If you want better local services, you have to pay more tax."

I have also come across the correct use of this idiom in many WAEC and JAMB questions.

The same thing is applicable to "birds of a feather that flock togher"

guy, i surf d web wif google to confirm dis. i finally saw dat dis it is properly said dat "u cant eat your cake & have it, in sum cases u add u can't hav your cake & eat it too @ d back; just like when a teenage girl got pregrant, dat means she has eaten her cake & can't hav it & also even if she is opportune to hav it @ dis point she can't eat it too, so u 'u can't hav your cake & eat it' can't stand alone & besides it's nt general accepted. Pls click below to confirm my point.

And dat of Quarreling is also wrong, d right one is wit double R & double L, d one wit single L is an American eng bt we us British's here.

1. 20houses, even after buying 2 houses from the community,is nt possible for him to carry it on his head, so the remaining house in the community is; 20 houses.
2. 2 days.
Re: Unilorin Likely Post-jamb Questions by rauly: 8:34am On Aug 12, 2010
The answer to my no1 qtn is 20,and no 2 is 1day because he rode on friday that means the name of the horse is friday.
