Today Monday, the 31st of December 2018 was a day set aside by the Ibibio nation to mark the Coronation of Oku Ibom Ibibio, His Eminence Nteyin Solomon J. Etuk, JP. The well attended event took place at Asan Ibibio, which happens to be the Ancestral center of Ibibio land.

Dignitaries that graced the coronation include the Akwa Ibom State Executive Governor, his Deputy, former Governors, the Ooni of Ife, the Obong of Calabar, the traditional ruler of Okpobo kingdom, the Speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, the Senator representing Akwa Ibom North East senatorial district, the SA to President Buhari on Legislative Affairs, the Vice-Chancellor of Akwa Ibom State University....
