Good morning every-body. |
Re: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by hazie: 9:41am On Oct 29, 2007 |
To spice things out i think Biggy should send Ashanti and Richard to the penthouse and see whether R will stand the hit because as from yersterday he was taken by Ashanti but he was trying to be strong and by the look of things T is also insecured by Ashanti, otherwise the moles are going to be boring cause the housemates are already one step ahead! |
Re: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by Egavlas(m): 10:33am On Oct 29, 2007 |
@Lawyerchap Yes Richard needs to be sent away even without an eviction vote. BB should make an exception to the rule at this time. Am not watching again but Offu caused the issue because she was following the two nasty people around(don't know if she has stopped). Even choosing to sleep in their bed when there was no scarcity of bedspace. If she continues that, she will lose . People hate hypocretes. You can't make believe that you are something else just to change over night under a little pressure. People would rather give it to someone who had remained a certain way all through. I hate Tarty Tart's conduct with The Roach and have been voting them all the time people had been voting others(untouchables). but she may likely win it if Offu doesnt stop following them around in such an inexplicable way. Maybe Offu is thinking that since they survived so many evictions, that they are crowd's favourites. But even that shouldnt make her change into something else |

@ALL Sorry y'all, but i mite not be able to give feedback on what is happening in the house. It is excrutiatingly painful at this time just to watch yes i know i just totolised, but i had to .How are they(moles) supposed to behave when BB has already made a fool of them (givng them Kwaku n Code's box). I knew homegirl would unmask them, but not just in a few minutes. Ive changed the channel there are better things to watch for now I will read here for updates instead. Chiow guys, lov'yall |

Why are we always 2 faced Technically ofunneka was drunk, what about Richard He should be thrown out for rape, ofunneka looked very consenting Maureen was evicted yesterday and was such a mess on stage, alternately crying and laughing and proclaiming her love for Code (even while beating him at tasks,; she made such a heavy point of this that i was wondering what that had to do with the price of fish in Kampala). She felt triumphant in her stint as Head of House where she claimed to have taken on two girls much bigger than her (Lerato and Bertha) and she whooped with delight throughout her 'Highlights' show. Mercifully, Kabelo kept the interview short to spare us from all the "I was one of the most competitive girls in the house, I beat Code when we had to stand on one leg, I beat blah blah blah." Maureen, give it a rest already. She was last seen being laced into a straitjacket and being bundled into a padded ambulance en-route to South Africa's finest sanatorium. Hope she gets well soon. The girl even admits that she needs to see a shrink, give her a break. She has issues with her self confidence and self worth. She needs to be the centre of attraction at all times for her to feel safe. Listen to her comments in the house after Codes eviction. She has problems remember , what is life going to throw next, not again, even in the big brother house, I will be strong , I think we should have a little compasion for her (her childhood / growing up experience could be the reason for her present nature) |

Re: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by spora(m): 12:25pm On Oct 29, 2007 |
I didn't watch the "uncut" O 'n' R episode but I was mad when a friend phoned to castigate me, a member of OSP (Offuneka Solidary Party (OSP) is jocularly used by my friends to describe us here on Nairaland for our avowed and unalloyed commitment to the Ofune-must-win project). It was really a let-down for I was like (and I always made them to understand) Ofune can't indulge in any of those s^&^! How wrong I was! So, it was not difficult for me to conclude that Liverpool-Arsenal match would be my priority on Sunday evening. As a Blue, I couldn't imagine anybody telling me of the match as whichever way it goes is a pain in my body. So, I practically has to be 'there' and pray for draw. But, you know how it is with addiction: the more you wish to stop, the more you long for it. I wouldn't want to miss the exit of the remaining half of Codeen either. No! and (God forbids) what if it turned out to be any of the other two?, I asked myself. This decision made me to join a friend who has a subscription for HiTV as well as DsTV. At least, I am sure I can have my cake (watch L-A match) and eat it (watch the eviction). But because everybody was inclined to L-A match, I only had the benefit of watching just the graphical progress of the eviction show as the volume was at the lowest level. The only thing I was able to pick yesterday was Maureen reaction when she was shown her kissing escapades with Code. There is no doubt that some of the HMs will regret some of their actions with the benefit of hindsight. Therefore I am of the belief that however tried we may, to justify the actions and inactions of omg, this is definitely one phase of her life that will shape her future. Some positively, some negative. This is considering the part of the world we belong to. My prayer is that the positive ones will outnumber the negatives. lawyerchap: LC, I beg to disagree with you. BBA/Mnet/MTN will never go into any of this stuff with the HMs without an undertaking of confidentiality knowing fully well that they would have access to privileged, sensitive and confidentiality information and/or records. It may also include the phase that whatever happened in the course of their stay in the BBH CAN NEVER BE USED AGAINST BBA. Not now! Not in future! I stand to be corrected anyway 'because I no lawyer |
Re: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by Dalby(m): 12:58pm On Oct 29, 2007 |
LC, I beg to disagree with you. BBA/Mnet/MTN will never go into any of this stuff with the HMs without a contractual agreement. I am of the belief that it is going to be part of the agreement from the very begining that whatever information or action at the disposal of any of hms can NEVER BE USED AGAINST BBA. Not now! Not in future! Abi O!!! |

Re: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by lawyerchap(m): 1:17pm On Oct 29, 2007 |
spora: Whatever agreements may have been signed by the housemates, it definitely does not cover criminal activity occurring in the house because it was most likely not within the contemplation of the parties that a crime could be committed against any of the housemates while in the house. Most often those agreements offer protection against civil suits, but even then the protection offered is not complete because even though Ofunneka may not be able to sue because of the contract she signed, her family is not a party to that agreement and it can be argued that they have locus standi (legal standing or interest) to bring a suit against Big Brother for negligence in preventing a crime leading to a loss of reputation for the victim. This was witnessed by millions of people so the payoff will be equally huge. Trust me, Biggie is wide open to liability, both criminally and in civil court. Loopholes, my friends!!! That's what lawyers live for, and we can always find them, trust me. @Tsquaure Sweetie wtf? You could have just put in a link to direct folks to the site (for those who haven't already been there). Please i beg you to just put in a link, a lot of people have seen this already. Besides, it is full of misinformation and could be mistaken for your opinion. Please modify and give us a link. A link, Pretty Please with a cherry on top. |

@ALL BBA has put a nasty taste in my mouth they are succccccchhh big trouble fo deliberatly getting hms drunk Haba VODKA as part of a task that was gross misconduct and IRRESPONSIBLE why didnt they come in earlier They can soooooooooo be sued these hm's have to live with this Even the thought of a reunion has lost its flavor when LC called and told me what happened, I was physically sick I couldnt even come online You guys shud enjoy but I'm not interested anymore I'll check in when we start voting for the winners |
Re: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by adechuks(m): 4:37pm On Oct 29, 2007 |
salsera: @Salsera, You took the exact words right out of my mouth. @All, I wish we could talk about something else. Anything at all will do. Patricia Etteh, for example. Or Delta State govt taking ALL the lawmakers in the state to UK, US and South Africa for holidays. Reason? They had just spent 100 hectic days making laws from the beautiful chambers in Asaba. They need a well-deserved retreat. We could even talk about Segun Oni the gov in Ekiti taking about 10 traditional rulers to London to mark this year's Ekiti Day ! The BBA incident has taken the fun out of this thing. I cant remember the house when it was better any more. Except when the Untouchables were around. It's bad. Now I cannot come to the office and tell my colleagues what's been happening in BBA anymore. 'Cos i'm ashamed for them. Seriously speaking, LawYerchap (with the unfortunate Y), I want to sue these guys. My grievance, 1. These guys (Big brother People) have made me lose some of my bragging rights in my small office. Now everyone feels they were right to not have watched the thing sef. I want BB to pay for that. 2. BB has caused myself and my beloved housemates on this forum unnecessary heartache. Because of this, a number of ppl could be needing the services of shrinks, blah blah blah, 3. Some people are already losing interest in the Nairaland BB Party. I was coming with Tshirts and face caps. Now, that is some serious money. Someone has to pay Finally, I thot the moles were convincing until they started singing discordant tunes. I wish they had come in like Katung did for BBN. when the house was fairly large. Then they wouldnt have needed to be this fake. Like i said guys, lets find something else to talk about |
Re: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by spora(m): 5:30pm On Oct 29, 2007 |
This is really a sad end to a beautiful story! Biggie, having realised the harm already done was trying to exonerate himself by claiming he warned them to sip and not to guzzle. Or was it that they couldn't decipher what it meant to drink responsibly? he asked. He even asked, according to biggie site, whether they would like to speak to a psychologist. A gesture they all declined, saying they were okay. Imagine! A case of medicine after death? My challenge is, I really don't think the hms are aware of the extent they went on that blue Saturday, except perhaps Richard. This is one action omg will surely regret, Poor girl! @all This is not the time to back out. We must follow this to the 'logical' end. Afterall, it is a game and in games, anything can happen. Anything! |
Re: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by uchetobi(f): 5:45pm On Oct 29, 2007 |
Yea I agree with u people, vodka as part of the tasks just make u wonder what is big brother trying to promote? Definitely not African virtues I mean, dese people were drunk to the point of throwing up, incredible! |

Tampico so ur a telenovela junkie too jjuummaaii where art thou? masala girl easy on the caps tommyex how u dey modups luv ur posts by the way LC abeg win this deal o, cos i need to start planning for december list ndi our wife, I dey greet |
Re: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by Ndi(f): 6:18pm On Oct 29, 2007 |
@salsera Sweetie, How re u doing? Since Yesterday i have been taking Wrigley's Orbit Spearmint Chewing Gum even Right now i still have it in my mouth to see if it can actually wipe out the sour taste Saturday's episode left me with cos my dear i am really speechless for now! Maybe by the time i take another dose and read soothing post from u and others i might feel better but for now i cannot really say much. But i still love all of you. By the way Tampico good to have u back! |
Re: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by Tampico(f): 6:28pm On Oct 29, 2007 |
@Salsera Never say never . U said u were not coming back soon, and there u are two posts later. My dear let us leave this matter. Something is always bound to happen that will make us come running back to post. Me a telenova junkie , haba i just watch 8 of them out of the 10 that is currently airing in Lagos now . Another matter u are skillfully dodging is why are u not answering Tommyex, abi u never read reach that side, abi u jump pass the question. Make i help am. He has been drinking Lacasera since my self imposed dissapearance. He wants to know whether u wan be his girl for this forum? @Ndi Thanks girlfriend! Like i told salcera, leave that matter. Forget about the spearmint, wat happened , happens. @ALL The HM's were drunk, and they behaved stupidly. Some of us have been drunk before, and have done worse just that it wasn't on international tv Wat u saw Homegirl display was a manifestation of her sexual apetite that had been growing monstrously by just constantly witnessing RICHIANA pornograph in her very before yes i said it She wanted to enjoy herself, and not be a spoil sport, but it had a terrible consequence, in which she will have to live with after BBA .Abi Is it our life?? wat is the difference of wat she did compared to the fact that a percentage of the whole world watch her scrub her breast and privates every single morning for the past more than 80 days now She is our Naija Babe, let us focus. Ofu for the money! So let's pray she comes out with the dough, cos with that much money in naija she can wipe her slate clean. As for the moles no comment So if y'all don't wanna talk about this let's talk about ourselves somehow until something controversial that's not disturbing turns up in da house. Tforever |
