Hello Goodpm everyone Don't know what is d delay all about with german embassy, appointment was November, Lawyer visited since january and am yet to get verification complete mail and they havent contact my husband as well . Any idea on what to do , this long wait to hear from them is killing oooo, 1. One year to get appointment 2. Separating spouse, only God dey safe our marriage 3. And just putting us on hold without any response from them its really unfair to us 2 Likes |

I can relate with you fully. My case is even more frustrating and depressing. Appointment date May 2021 First Lawyer Visitation November 2021. For unknown reasons another lawyer was assigned to re-start the verification process mid February. Presently the second Lawyer has to start the whole process afresh. This german family reunion journey is f**King annoying and not for the fainthearted but God has the final say. Ewatominiyi: |

Not everyone gets the verification completed mail. This does not mean they have not verified your identity. As for your spouse, tell him to contact the migration office in his state. They will tell him the documents to bring. You need to be very patient. The family reunion process takes a lot of time. For silly reasons too that is no fault of yours! Don't be too attached to it. It can lead you to depression. I almost entered one. Ewatominiyi: 1 Like |

Hi everyone, I am one of the Nigerians that left Ukraine because of the war but I am now in Germany. I was advised not to register as a refugee or seek for asylum in Germany that I should apply for study permit. I have written to several public universities to seek for admission but the replies are slow. Most of the replies I got were from private schools for my masters and I have been given admission into two private schools for my masters in Berlin which the school fees is around 10k euros and can be paid by installment. As regarding the school fees I know it much but I can sort my way out On a long run as there are plans on how I will be able to pay it. The major issue now is the block account or a sponsorship letter. Is there a way I can get the letter from someone residing in Germany. I don’t mind paying the person for the letter. If there are other suggestions on how I can get the letter please let me know. Foreign students from ukraine were given 3 months to stay legally in Germany that’s why I want to use school to stay longer and find way forward. |

Ewatominiyi: People who have waited enough don't usually ask these questions lol To answer you, your spouse should just walk in or email the auslanderbehorde in his city. |

Your hubby should send a mail to the foreign office in his city. They will tell him what to bring. Or he should walk in to their office if he can without appointment. Don't wait for anyone at all. They will call him at their convenience which can be in few months! Ewatominiyi: |

Has anyone here ever filed for an appeal at the Administrative Court in Berlin before? How long does it take and what is the process like? The immigration office in my city wants to deny my wife's application because I am a student despite knowing several students whose spouses have joined them on reunion visas. Has anyone (student) experienced such before? Your general advice are really needed right now as My wife and I are emotionally and psychologically drained I have submitted a rental contract, unlimited work contract, payslips and even a blocked account confirmation of €10,300!. My city is Bonn! |

Sorry about what you are going through. If you don't mind could you specify what Programm those students who successfully reunited with their spouses are into? From what i know, a Student going for BSC or MSC Programm can't file for a family reunion visa. A PHD Student on the contrary has that added advantage. I stand to be corrected though. Perhaps the acquaintances who succeeded in reuniting with their spouses, were all PHD Students or there are other untold key details in their Story. All the best. bamdexfarms: |

Bonn2007: Regardless of what programme you are . As Msc student you can file for family reunion and you would be granted. But it's much easier if you hold any of the EU scholarship programme example DAAD. A self sponsored Msc student family reunion is though very difficult without any of the EU scholarship, but still you would granted if you fulfill all the criteria. Its time consuming and only for the strong mind's |

Bonn2007: BSc and MSc students also file for family reunion as far as they are legally married. In fact, all the fellow students I know are either Bsc of Masters students. |

Which Germany? Cause I know so many master's students that were rejected family reunion visa. Only PhD students get approved. If you find people, then it must not be Nigerians. Ahmed4002: |

When the embassy says you should give a space of 10 days for traveling date, is this 10 straight days or 10 working days? |
