Report has it that a young man has regained his freedom from police custody after he was arrested with a bottle of beer and Action Bitters in Benin city, Edo state capital.

According to Human Rights activist Kola Edokpayi, the man was arrested by police officers on Friday night while having fun at a beer parlour within the metropolis.

The young man was released on bail after a team went to the police station on his behalf.

Kola Edokpayi wrote on Facebook;.

When we are supposed to be relaxing after the day political campaign, we went to one of the Police Stations in Benin at about 11: 56 PM at night to immediately order for the release of one of our Comrades who was arrested in a Beer Parlour with a bottle of Williams and two sachets of Action Bitters.

He was released to us without much ado.
