I think the man is trying, but he is too old, no more mental and physical strength.

But why is everyone suddenly calling PMB a dictator, in saner climes, when you have millions that you can't account for, you resign.. Especially when you hold an office that should be impeccable.

Onnoghen implicated himself by claiming mistake in forgetting millions in his account, automatically tainting him and rendering all his previous, present and future actions as CJN questionable and subject to challenges in law courts.

Some actions are not legal but are ethical, because it beats my imagination that
Onnoghen wants to be tried in court by people he appointed to court, what nonsense.

Although am not in support of PMB's actions, but somethings require a different approach.

What will happen if he suspends a whole govt then? PDP would be shouting Nigeria is killed, Democracy is dead, as if democracy was ever alive during the days of Obj, Yar'adua, GEJ

Below is a judgment deliver by the CJN, affirming the power of the CCT to suspend any public official (he is a public official) pending the determination of his case. Of course, he may not have know that someday, the law he interpreted will be applied to him.

But the kano governor didn't resign abi. And he is been relied on to get millions of vote for Buhari. This man go land us all into chaos. Na all of us go burn. Make una dey support stupidity. They have their kids saved somewhere.. Make una allow sentiments dey deceive una.

When รจ happen we go all pay for it. This was how the civil war started. Small small wahala like this.. Buhari own Don too much. He can't act like this. It is democracy. If not for democracy, he wouldn't have won the election. If not for democracy, he couldn't have contested becus he didn't present his basic requirement. He ran to court and got good judgement. I am never a bias person.

What buhari is doing is evil and for the first time in my life, I feel like participating in chaos. Bleep that man. He is too divisive in nature.

The Presidents cabal has just mistakenly made the election between Nigeria and Buhari and this time around, the North has nothing to loose.

He should listen to the voices behind and not praise singers..

- APC as a party has made no comment,
- Basket mouth Sagay is speechless,
- Judiciary against him,
- Legislative against him,
- He has 100% lost the SS & SE,
- He has lost 65% of the SW (myself included),
- Osibanjo has not declared support for this gaffe,
- He just rendered Amaechi & Akpabio useless,
- No Southerner can raise a hand to defend this gaffe.
- A reversal would show his dullness.
- ohaneze, Arewa, IJC, Middleblt, Afenifere have all shown not a single support.

If the option of a united Nigeria is placed before the North against Buhari, they would sacrifice him before he blinks twice.

I see Buhari going down as an "INFAMOUS" Nigerian president.

But are you sure he has lost 65% of SW? Cos i see and hear them supporting Buhari's actions even better than his brothers from the North citing very flimsy reasons

Call him any name you like. That's exactly what happened when he came with Tunde Idiagbon. They instilled discipline into Nigerians. We hated them at the time. After they left, we started realising the beauty of they did. Now we are shouting because he wants to fight corruption to its roots. When he leaves we will realise the importance of what he did. Corrupt judges and lawyers cannot ensure the fight against corruption is won. The CJN is corrupt, he was caught red handed, he refused to leave and is determined to procure judgement for the thieves in PDP in this election. By doing that the fight against corruption would have been truncated. The CJN cannot be removed by NJC because most members are his stooges, he appointed them. The national assembly is led by enemies who are corrupt and in PDP, they will ensure 2/3 majority to remove CJN will not see the light of the day. They instituted numerous court cases with the hope that this will drag beyond the election when he would have done the damage to install PDP. The NBA president is also enmeshed in corruption cases in Akwa Ibom. What do you expect from them in that case? What Buhari did is what a courageous leader will do to sanitise a corrupt system that is massively lopsided against him. I can put my hand on my chest to say Buhari has no intention to rig this election. Because he has no reason to do. He has seen that the people of good conscience love him and majority will still vote for him. But the corrupt people have been cut down by this move of Buhari. This is why they are making noise.
God bless Buhari, God bless people of Good conscience. God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria.

litdutchboy:

Oshiomhole was indicted and the court ordered his probe for embezzling billions of naira when he was Edo State governor, till now Buhari did nothing. Tinubu and Alpha beta were indicted and the court ordered for the probe of their activities for massive fraud and money laundering running into hundreds of billions and nothing was done by same Buhari. Grass cutter Babachir is still fresh in our mind.

Maina was reinstated and paid 22 million naira when he was supposed to be investigated. Orji Uzor kalu and Akpabio are both free because they have declared for the tyrant Buhari.

Ganduje and co are being defended by same Buhari despite many evidences against them. The CCT tribunal judge took a bribe of 1.8 million dollars and Buhari never asked for his head despite having a solid case against him. Amaechi was indicted by a judicial body of inquiry and Buhari ignored the reports and made him minister. Kemi Adeosun was escorted by the security agents to the airport to aid her escape from the country and avoid prosecution. Buhari himself signed a whooping NNPC contract of 25 billion USD without due process when he was in hospital in London despite relinquishing power to Osinbajo and yet he is mr integrity. Time will tell.

Today all arms of government, security agencies, INEC are headed by Northerners to the detriment of Federal character. Buhari has succeeded in bringing Nigeria to its knees. He must be voted out to save Nigeria.
If you think modath is using human brain then you are on a long thing grin

Agreed that CJN erred in not properly declaring some of his bank accounts. The question is have those monies been traced to any criminal source?? You can't just say you have profiled one's salary account and conclude he should not have more than his statutory earnings. Are judges barred from earning money from other sources?

The President has no power to remove any head of the other arms of government. Unfortunately, Buhari has tried to just that in his 3years misrule.
He cannot hide under the guise fighting corruption to go against the law of the land, something he swore to uphold.
As I once said, this country will disintegrate under this moro.n, so initiating actions to that effect is not a surprise. Quote me, Buhari cannot another term as the President of a united Nigeria.

You are not getting it, are you?

The rules of engagement stipulates that it is the sole/exclusive preserve of competent courts of jurisdiction to determine guilt or innocence.

The editorial cannot proclam a verdict on a matter that is sub judice.

No matter how compelling the evidences are, the grundnum is that matters must undergo judicial/legal scrutiiny preparatory to the pronouncement of a verdict...

Rule of law, my friend...

Nonsense.

When justice was denied to Kalu, El Zakzay, etc, everyone kept mute and carried on unconcerned.

The funny thing is that the devil you give taciturn support will always bare its fangs against its supporters. Nigerians support evil if they are not the direct victims. Remarkably, karma always come knocking in a hard way.

It reminds us of Omenkalives, anti-Biafra and subsequent herdmen massacre in his home state of Benue. The National Assembly had all the opportunities to checkmate Buhari. Saraki blocked them all when he was still in bed with APC. Now the tide has turned. Folks keep making the same mistakes repeatedly and expect different results. Who is a f00l?

This is what I find very strange. Is the CJN above the law? What is the purpose of all the anti corruption laws if they cannot be enforced.
The national assembly should step in and make corruption legal that way things like this will never happen again.
