i don't know why some men are just difficult. i got married at 22 gave birth to twins twice and I am presently 25 but if you see me you will think I am 30.
I had my masters at 21 and my parents felt it was time to settle down.
I got married at 22 to a man I thought was God sent. My husband refused me working. He said he didn't want me parading Abuja but just wanted me to sit at home and take care of his children. Fast forward to Wednesday he gave me money as usual to go to the market and my friend introduced an errand company she uses to get things from the market . I decided to try them out and I was so happy when my items got delivered to my house. I told my husband about it when he returned and that I no longer have to leave our kids with our neighbour and that everything they bought was 15k and was charged only 1500 but to my surprise he started shouting saying my parents tasked him heavily all in the name of bride price that he must use me until he exhaust the money he paid on my head. This man has just been torturing me. I take care of 4 kids kids without any domestic help or even a gate man and he doesnt help out all he does is bring his friends home to eat and scatter the house as the like and bom I still wash with my hands. I was once a fair young girl but now he has stressed me beyond measure and he is so rich that he can afford anything infact he has 4 cars but doesn't let me drive any even to the so called market at times I even have to back my kids to the market.
I am tired of this torture called marriage. If he couldn't pay the bride pay he would have just opted out its not like it was by force.
I have decided to get a job so I won't have to meet him for money for anything I cant continue to suffer. I just want to beg girls not to rush into this thing called marriage without having your own source of income no matter how small pls.

My culture is not a weirld, I'm African and I know my history, let his husband come out to tell us reason why he behaved such because u can't buy something expensive and still be using it anyhow while u know what it will cost u to het another ones back ... that's life rules
