This book is clearly the first of its type by any author in the country to put together in one volume the entire history of South Africa from the arrival of the whites to the democratic election of Nelson Mandela and afterwards.

It examines, in a historic manner, the arrival of the whites in South Africa in the 1640s; the progressive incursion and take-over of the native land; the incipient and gradual, but incremental oppression of the indigenous people; the ferocious struggle amongst the English-speaking whites and the majority white group, the Afrikaner, especially, in the wake of discovery of large quantities of Gold and Diamond in the Afrikaner (Boer) republics of Transvaal and Orange Free states; the spectacularly watershed elections of 1948 that catapulted the Boers to the pinnacle of leadership in the country, and the ensuing formal introduction of APARTHEID.

Perhaps more importantly, the accelerated persecution of the blacks in their own country; the agony and suffering of South Africa's neighbouring states, later known as the Frontline States; the co-option of Nigeria into that legendary League of States ranged against the intimidating apartheid's awesome machine.
Particularly of interest is that for the first time, this Book renders a penetrating submission of Nigeria's contributions to the requiem of the obnoxious system, that atrophied upon taking over of the country by Nelson Mandela and the ANC in 1994.

The Book offers us a view of the extent the apartheid Planners were prepared to traverse to prosecute their diabolical plan, presenting to readers, the comedy and the tragedy of the evil system.
