Fact is that those teeritories were owned by the British. As for your question on referendum.. there can be a referendum on anything.its just a way to find out exactly what the people feel about an issue. ..the real question is " is if there is a constituitional right to secede in the Nigerian constitution" For this youll need to find out why Nnamdi Azikiwe refused the request of other regions to insert the right to secede into the constituition. Stop playing the victim and look for more practical ways to achieve your aims. |
