Flee from Fleshly lust(sexual immoralities)

Fleshly lust comes from three main passages
• the senses (the eyes and the ear) and
• the thought
• the flesh
The senses- what you see or hear determines if you will be able to desist from sexual immoralities or not. If you can't control what you see or hear( listen to), then that's the beginning of falling.

The senses

The Eyes
Genesis 39:7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.

Potiphar's wife wanted to lie with Joseph, but what happened before that, she cast her eyes on Joseph.
- You must control what you see. What do you look at?, what videos do you watch?, what sites do you visit?, who do you cast your gaze on?

Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

The Ear
What do you listen to? Who are your companions? Are your companions the ones that speak on sex, number of people they have committed fornication with? What kind of music do you listen to? Is it music that the lyrics is full of sexual slangs?
Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
The serpent told eve that She will not die if she eat of the fruit of good and evil. What have your friends whom you listen to all the time told you? That sex is fun? That you are not a man if you have not had sex with a girl before marriage? That you are missing a lot if you have not had sex? That as a female you are an asset to make money? I tell you if you keep listening to such friends, you are most likely to fall.

- Get rid of any of such associate who engage in speaking on sex every now and then, the Bible says in

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

- Be separate, don't let those friends destroy your life and destiny
Ephesians 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
- Don't engage in those words for they are unprofitable for the soul and your relationship with GOD.
- Don't listen to music that bring about vain thought, to be frank with you, I would advice that you should only listen to Gospel music and sermon.

The senses is the foundation, if you can control your senses: what you see and listen to, then you are most likely to eradicate or overcome sexual immoralities.

• The thought
What you think of stems from what you have seen and heard.

Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
You have be careful of what you think of, that is why you have to read the word of GOD daily, don't just read, meditate- ponder on what you have read, think about what GOD has spoken to you about that day.
To guide your heart
- You must read and meditate the word of GOD
- You must pray that God will strengthen you to focus on Him.
- You must ask GOD to sanctify your heart.

If the heart is not well guided, fall is inevitable.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Your thought should be well guided, think on how you can bring glory to GOD, how you can serve Him in Holiness and Righteousness.

When vain thought comes knocking at the door of your heart, you have the key to either open or close the door.
I will give a typical example:

Genesis 39:9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?

Until you take lust and sexual immoralities as wickedness against GOD and as a path to eternal damnation, you will find it difficult to stop it( if you engage in it) or prevent it.

The flesh
is the final route in which the action takes place.
If you want to please GOD you must crucify the flesh, if you have not given your life to Christ and you expect to stop sexual immoralities, then you are wrong.

Galatians 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

If you have not given your life to Christ, now is the time!!! For you to overcome sexual immoralities you *must* crucify the flesh.

Finally, you must live after the ways of Christ. You must like Christ lived, in love, peace, compassion, humility and doing good. You must walk in the Spirit.

Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Ending note: 1 Corinthians 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
