I can't get over my result. Am not so good in writing, I practiced so hard for the writing and manage to pass and listening that I feel so confident about messes me up. I seek for advice for a remark I got a go ahead from just one. I have searched and got only one case where listening was upgraded. Don't know what to do. Please guys I need advice should I go for a remark?
First attempt LRWS 8.5, 6.5, 6.0, 7.5
Second attempt LRWS 7.5, 7.5, 7, 7.5.

I'm kind of certain I did well in the Listening and anticipated an 8.5, what could possibly go wrong?
I'm so sorry about your result. Don't give up just yet.
I'll advice you register for the exam again.

Just as you said, Listening hardly gets upgraded, reason being that it's objective and answers are straightforward, unlike writing and speaking.

Hello house, I just thought I should drop this here as it might help someone on this journey. I would try to keep this as brief as possible.

So some of you may know that I have been trying to get my North Cyprus PCC for a while now. Along the way, I Crossed paths with a very selfless Nigerian on this thread called Temas. He posted the first step by step process of getting the PCC, even shared the link of the agent I eventually used. Before I start rambling about how great this guy is let me go straight to the point.

I would advice anyone looking to get a PCC from North Cyprus to use an agent. Not that you cannot do it without one but if you don’t want to be as fraustrated as I was just save yourself the headache. What do you need?

1. Write a letter giving the agent proxy to apply for and collect your PCC on your behalf ( Pm me for his contact details)
2. Notorize this letter ( did mine at high court Ikeja for 1,500 naija. They will even take 1,200 if you can bargain)
3. Send/Take this letter to the Ministry of foreign affairs Abuja to authenticate it ( this would cost you btw 5 -10k and would take a day or two)
4. Thereafter, take the letter to Turkish embassy Abuja for authentication ( cost $20 per page and would take btw 2 days to a week)
5. Send the letter along with 2 passport photographs to the agents address in North Cyprus ( used dhl for 26k and documents got there in about 8 days). *please emphasize that it’s North Cyprus not just Cyprus before they send it to Larnaca. Happened to me an they had to send it back to Turkey then Ercan*
6. When the agent gets your documents he would inform you and then you’ll need to pay his fees( Cost $150 dollars cry cry. Did western union)
7. You would need to also send him your passport datapage via mail

After all this you should get the soft copy of your PCC in like a week. He would send the hard copy via normal post( I sha don’t need it). Finally, It has ended in praise. Please help me thank Temas, he kept checking up on me when Turkish police were frustrating me and my proxy. Thank you sir and I hope one day I’ll meet you and madam in canny.

Pls guys I need advice, my points and bae points stands at 478 but we are not married although engaged, and we don't intend to tie the nut till July next year. Pls aside from what is found on irc website is there anyway one could prove common law partner, cos to be honest Nigeria doesn't practice common law partner.
I feel the best way to go about this would be a court marriag. I'm not so sure if there's any other way to prove that you guys are married other than a Court marriage certificate.

Meanwhile wait and bear from others as well

Again for those that are Post ITA and close to the 60 days deadline without getting their PCC let me share my story.

Got ITA Dec 19th, did an upfront medicals so the only thing left was sorting out my POF. Had that sorted out by mid January but couldn’t submit as I was waiting for a PCC. When my deadline came close I was contemplating declining the ITA and going back to the pool. 2 days to my deadline I decided not to decline it, wrote an LOE explaning that I have started the process and would submit the PCC via a CSE before MEP/BIL. Attached a letter alongside the LOE showing that I had started the process then submitted. 30 days post AOR got he PCC and raised a CSE immediately to upload it. Got a mail that they have received it 2 days later.

What I’m I trying to say?, this journey one has to be guided. I thought I was safe with a CRS of 451 and could afford to decline ITA and be sure of getting the next one. Scam. You would not believe that if I had rejected it I wouldn’t have gotten ITA for the next 2 rounds.

Got BIL a couple of days back and going for biometrics this week. This journey has not been easy but like they say, it would all end in praise.

Just had the courage to check my IELTS result and it could have been worse but not what I expected. First time LRWS 8,7.5,7,7.

ECA not yet ready, Masters.

Planned on claiming just one year because my work experience is a bit complicated but that will leave my score too low at 444.

Want to confirm if my work experience can go like this:
Paid Industrial training(NOC 2282, 40hrs/wk): 6months, reference letter can easily be gotten.

NYSC(NOC 4031, 40hrs/wk): 11/12months, reference letter not available but plan on writing it myself and notarize it with bank statement to support my claim.

Retail sale supervisor (NOC 6211, 50hrs/wk, paid family business ): 13 months, reference letter available, paid in cash.

Research assistant, (NOC 4012):
September 2017 - December 2017 (20hrs/wk)
January 2018 - April 2018 (20hrs/wk)
September 2018 - December 2018 (20hrs/wk)
January 2019 - current (Spring semester)(10hrs/wk)

I believe i should be able to use all this to claim 3yrs of work experience right?

I am struggling using pencil to write. Some letter are not legible and the pencil breaks too often. What can i do? IELTS is close already!!

Go to a good bookstore and ask for NATARAJ pencils(3), eraser and sharpner.

You won't regret it.

I am in similar shoes, I forgot to add those student agency jobs, It was just after I submitted I remembered, as most were during my masters.
I can neither remember company nor agency name save for 1 popular one.

soulhighman:
Good day everyone please I have this very important question to ask.

When is the best time to raise a cse? I am post AOR and Pre-MEP. I just remembered that there is a job I did for one month and few days while as a student in the UK that I forgot to include in my personal history . It was during my masters degree. That period had already been covered automatically with my education when I got to the personal history part so while filling the form, I just concentrated on the dates that haven't been covered yet. That was how I forgot to put that job.

Also, are there people who omittee jobs that they did for one, two, three weeks ? Cos there are a few that I can't remembee their exact periods but it was after studies. Should there be any cause for concern over this?

And please, is it just me that is having issues with login into my application?

Sorry about your result. A lot of things could have contributed to the 7.5 in listening.
1. Spelling errors
2. using small letters for a proper noun
3. Not following instructions strictly

Is your writing legible ? Maybe an "e" looking like an "a"

If you are sure you didn't make any of thèse errors and you wrote with BC, you can give remark a trial (it will cost you 15k); but if your exam was with MOD, i wouldn't advice you remark because it costs more (46,124).

Booking an appointment actually has no effect whatsoever. It's advisable to get there very early so you finish on time.
