You can use oanda.com for conversion. Please make sure it isn't the exact amount, take the fluctuations that happen over time into account.
In other words, make sure you have a little over the required amount.

Please do you have an idea how much it costs to run the BCS IT program? It’s for a sibling looking to up his CRS point. We have checked on the Website and it says nothing. Called and didn’t get any help.
Thank you very much
enoeshett:

British Council doesn't organize courses, they only invigilate exams on behalf of educational and professional organisations round the world. British Computer Society (BCS), for instance if you are IT inclined, is administered at British Council. You register with the institution and write your exams at British Council. Check this thread for BCS whatsapp group info. Else there is CIMA for accountants, CIPM for personnel mgt, PGD with Open University. These are a few courses that have been treated in this thread. So use the exam name to search here to get specific results. Bonne Chance

Congratulations on your PPR.

What a year-long wait! It has ended in praise. You would have shared more details with us na, especially for PNP hopefuls. A lot must have happened in-between. You score 3.5/10 for script submission.

All the best to you and your family. Success in Canada.

Please I'm trying to create WES account for hubby. I realised that his middle in his waec result is not the same as that of his first degree and his passport doesn't have any middle name. Which name should I use to create account for him for his ECA?

Hi Fam,

I have been reading and following patiently, for a long time now. I have a some issues, and I pray somebody here has answers to my problems, and could help a sister out.

1. I want to evaluate my credentials(MSc), and I have an age discrepancy issue with my Nov/Dec wasc result. So, I chose to do it with ICES. What about my choice? Please, does anybody have same age discrepancy issue with wasc? If you do, how did you resolve it? That is the only reason why I am not using WES, which would have been better for me, in this case

2. Those that used ICES, did you request for a copy of your transcript from your school, first that you sent with your certificates to ICES, because they requested academic record , as one of the things to be sent alongside certificates and international passport? That's aside the usual transcript request from school that will be sent directly to ICES, by the school.

3. Did you ask your school to send a soft copy to ICES? Is it better than asking them to send a hard copy?

4. What about their request for certificates alongside transcripts from the school? Those that studied in UNN, how did you handle that? In ICES website, they stated that if the school indicates the awarded degree on the transcript, it can cover for the certificate.

Thanks, in anticipation

"The Association of Shekere Shakers Union (ASSU) commenced a national indefinite strike over the refusal of the Federal Government to meet their demands. Speaking to journalists at the solidarity march, the publicity secretary described the negligence of the current government as criminal and crass irresponsibility.
Members of the Union decried the lack of basic infrastructure such as soft landing ground and bigger shekeres while also lamenting the long months of owed salary. The National president of ASSU has insisted that the Executives of the Union will not relent until their full demands are met.

When contacted by this correspondent, the minister of shekere labour - Ifeoma.77 - had no comments"

Good evening all!!!

I aff come with anoda queshon oooo.

Hubby is a fish farmer and we want to indicate that under personal history and not under work history.

I want to know if he will be asked to provide any supporting document for that. Like tax clearance

Ideally he wouldn't be asked for that since it's in his personal history.

Well for my payment to WES 2months ago, i had to transfer the cash to my sisters account and make use of her Mastercard debit card(GTB) as I had only a Verve debit card(First Bank). Its also advised to use either GT, First Bank or Zenit Bank debit cards when doing the transfer as they have shown to be more reliable.Hope this helps
Marula:
You guys must forgive this village girl who keeps asking questions at every point. Am about paying WES for ECA to get my reference number. I want to initiate my transcripts at my institutions this morning and I see options that am unsure of

Credit Card: I don't have a Credit Card. I do have a Master Card Debit Card (ATM) will this work

Western Union Online Transfer: I don't know how this works although I do know there's Western Union in Nigerian Banks. I see stickers and ads at bank.

So which is the right one to choose? I'll prefer Master Card ATM Card or Mobile Bank Transfer from my phone whichever that works. Pleas answer if you know. Thank you.

Quick question

Which is the best ECA company?

Everywhere I’m seeing WES but won’t they be over worked since the whole world seems to be using them.

I want a fast and effective ECA service.

Please I need help regarding processing of passport at Alausa Passport Office, Ikeja. Capturing was done like 3 months back, but passport is yet to be collected as they keep complaining about lack of material. I do not know if anybody can assist with any connection to resolve this matter. This has been stalling my wife's ECA.

Thank you so much.

Please tweet at them on @nigimmigration

They’ll ask you for your full name, passport office where you captured & Enrollment number. It works.

Good luck.

Cool.

odogwudozilla:
So,

I have been thinking about how to make it easier for everyone to refer to posts that made the most impact without having to ask the same questions over and over again. In my view, the posts that make the most impact will generate the most "likes" since it means it resonated with the readers. However, these posts are scattered throughout the pages in the thread, which kind of makes it hard to get to them one by one.

As my way of doing something about it, I wrote a script that scrapes through the data on the thread, collates the (50) posts with the most "likes". Below are the direct links to the respective posts. Enjoy.

No sir/madam. In a twist .. you have to look through the three modules and ask yourself if you are determined enough to excel in those courses that might be a drift from what you know...

It's worth the shot, that's a fact.

1. Play with your CRS calculator.
2. Yes. Sure.
3. Both can be done simultaneously as none is dependent on the other... THERE IS NO ORDER.
