We have completed more research regarding the credential you have submitted for evaluation. Unfortunately ICES is unable to provide assessments for degrees completed at Port Harcourt University because ICES has insufficient and inconclusive information regarding the validity of the degrees that were issued by this institution.  At a later date, should ICES receive more conclusive information regarding the validity of the degrees from Port Harcourt University, then ICES will resume evaluating degrees from the said institution. Until then, ICES will not be able to provide any assessments for degrees awarded by Port Harcourt University.
 
In accordance with our cancellation policy outlined in the ICES Credential Evaluation Application Package, we will issue refunds for $200.

Please I have a question: on the express Entry page while filling my details there a place that states what’s the minimum education requirement for you NOC...... mine is NOC6235. Skilled level B. And under job requirement it states completion of high school is usually required. 3. There will be issue if you don't claim him. IRCC said you should list ALL family members - whether they're full, adopted, half, step or elevator. So it's really not up to you to choose him or not, if bomboy is not listed, it's misrepresentation.

This is really strange cos verification of credentials from a University like UNIPORT(Federal University) should not be a Herculean task as suggested in the mail. However, their continuous mention of Port Harcourt University as against University of Port-Harcourt makes me believe something is fishy somewhere. But,

1. Did you process your transcript yourself or by proxy? If by proxy, do you really trust the person?

2. Is your credential from a satellite/affiliate campus? I asked because ICES recently updated documents requirement section for Nigeria, listing even some "popular" institutions with illegal satellite campuses and whose credentials will not be evaluated. Although, last time I checked UNIPORT was not among.

3. Have you tried contacting your school peradventure ICES sent verification which was never attended to by them.

I know people have evaluated successfully with WES but anybody who has evaluated UNIPORT credential with ICES should please clear the air.

I processed the transcript myself. It was sent from the Centre for Petroleum Geosciences, University of Port Harcourt via email.
Not a satellite campus and ICES never contacted the centre for verification. I have sent them a mail to confirm the details, hopefully they will change it. I really wonder where Port Harcourt University came from. On my dashboard its
showing University of Port Harcourt.

I think the problem is that maybe CPG is not among the list of universities they have, mind you CPG is not a university on its own, it's under UNIPORT, so you were wrong by going through CPG, you should have gone through UNIPORT or IPS.
