I did a custom install on win xp. I had to install webcam,modem,etc again but when I downloaded the bluetooth driver and tried installing it, it tells me it can't find the device.
I've tried a lot of drivers, they all tell me the same thing.
What do I do to get Bluetooth on my computer?

i take it the pc had onboard (inbuilt) bluetooth? very surprising though, cuz i know win7 has those type of drivers easily.
maybe u should do a fresh install.


NB: did u check device manager? does it have devices that have no drivers? for win7 its usually better to connect to the net, then rightclick those devices in dev mgr and choose the update from the net option, it usually does a good job of locating the right drivers

i say this cos its a different kettle of fish entirely if the device isnt even detected at all. anyway for windoze, a fresh install is always better

i put it on my pc, boot it occasionally to see, used it over the weekend just to use YIM.1st time in a long time

its very very beta sha, ram footprint of like 512mb, cool sha for a winblows os.

all the usual freaky stuff still are there. registry ish just cos i installed a game that dint run, after installing 5 programs and removing them from startup, starting is slower now. . . . . . . . . . .
