America’s First Lady Michelle Obama’s holiday wardrobe this year includes a vibrant, patchwork, folkloric dress by the London-based Nigerian designer, Duro Olowu. The dress, a funky, layered, smock-style, features at least five different silk prints.

Did the designer not at least try to get Michelle's measurements right. The dress looks like the type that girls inherit from their mothers. Its not very pretty and worse, it doesn't really fit.

um actually I think michelle could have gotten a better dress but considering shes THE PRESIDENTS WIFE- im sure her advisers wouldnt want to wear anything "too flashy" or afro centric.

Well done to Mrs Obama for patronizing an African designer for a change. And congrats to the Nigerian designer for attaining such a high standard in tailoring and design that he/she is patronized by the spouse of president of the united states.
