Nigeria has over 200 tribes, yet some tribes are the ones determining who the president will be because of their population. please share this if you agree with this

North has the highest population and play an important role in determine the President in any election. The population of Kano state alone is more than some Eastern state put together….There are 6 geo-political zones in Nigeria:

for a candidate to be declared a winner……. he/she must win

At least 3 states in North Central (Abuja also included as North Central)

(Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa. Niger, Plateau, Federal Capital Territory)

At least 2 states in North East

(Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, Yobe)

At least 3 states in North west

( Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, Zamfara)

At least 2 states in South East

( Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo)

At least 2 states in South South

( Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Rivers, Delta, Edo)

At least 2 states in South West

( Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo)

If two or more candidates attain the criteria above, only candidates who have met the criteria above Should move to Stage 2

The winner should be based on total number of states won

if no candidates meet up with those criteria, then only then should Highest number of votes be used to determine the winner

please share if you agree with this
