On Thursday last week some group of people in anger went to IBEDC office at Oke Omiru and Isare and dealt with all the staff they met at the offices. it was gathered that some are landed in the hospital as the result of the beatings.
Saturday midnight, IBEDC used SARS to arrest innocent people at bolorunduro. In protest, the youths stormed blocked the roads and preventing free flow of traffic, making going and coming back from church difficult.
The situation is now worse as they are burning tyres on the roads, at the entrance of Owas palace. Mobile police shooting tear gas into the crowd to scared them away. it was learnt that not fewer that four people were shot. Economic activities is down presently in the town. For the past few days the entire ijeshaland has been thrown into darkness. This is a call to people in power to wade into the matter.
