D but seriously,a big big shame to some Nigerians who constantly say bad things about their own players. Imagine a guy the other day at the soccer pub, 'see how this player fine' referring to a white player. 'see 9ja player as him urgly' Men,i couldnt take it, i just had to remind him that he looks exactly like the so called urgly 9ja player. Honestly,it is high time we stop talking trash about our Nigerian players, especially on age, skin related issues.
Until we battle the spirit of hatred within ourselves mostly caused by politics/politicians ,religion and tribe, the racisms that ll happen between us will pass that of argentines .

We need to tolerate each other !

Nigerir should keep this team for both u23 nations cup and Olympic
It's going to be hard especially if they qualify for U-23 AFCON, as AFCON U-23, is not under FIFA calender so, their European clubs may not release these players to play as was the situation in 2012 Olympics qualifier.
this drafting of 4 SE players down was only easy because the SE are playing in Asaba as well.

U23 nations cup also serves as qualifiers for olympic. So must of them will be going if they qualify.

It should be noted that this same team has more reserved players that were not called. Nwakali and the rest of them that Amunike used to conquer the world at U-17 level

DeRay98:

Not all our U-23 are called "Dream Team". The only "Dream Team" so far was the Atlanta '96 U-23 team and it was so named because of the quality of players available at U-23 that year. Even before the team was gather gathered, most football fans already knew the players. They eventually justified their name by winning the Olympic gold.
Since then, no other U-23 generation has merited being called that name, only people who were toddlers by that time calling every U-23 team " Dream Team".
The U-23 team of Nigeria does not have a permanent name like the senior national "Super Eagles", or Junior national team U-20 aka "Flying Eagles" or the Eaglets aka "Golden Eaglets"

As far as the under 23 men football team that represents Nigeria in Olympics is concerned ...they're nick named "DREAM TEAM"

The goals Ighalo scored are mostly tap in and penalties . Give this Osimhen same opportunity Ighalo missed at world cup and see goals . When Osimhen scored at under 17 u guys said he is still a boy now he scored under 23 yet not ready for eagles ? Give OSI same balls given to Ighalo

World Cup was almost a year ago.

I don't know who said he is not old enough for Super Eagles, you are obviousky jumping to conclusions. I am only laughing at the whole "throw the old, functional toy away for the new one"....one game against Libya and we are ready to kick out Ighalo. If this kid messes up tomorrow, you people will forget when you were asking us to throw the whole Odion Ighalo away for him and remember he is a small boy.

This is how Ighalo was thrown away for Iheanacho before, where is Iheanacho now? Today, Osimhen is the one that will bench Ighalo. If y'all are waiting for Rohr to drop Ighalo that is scoring goals for ya Osimhen, that meins you wee sleep there grin
