You guys can get married in South Africa. After marriage, your wife should petition for CR1 visa when she gets back to the US.

I don't know the requirements in South Africa. I'm guessing you'll get your marriage certificate since you are a legal resident.

Just tell them the truth. There's nothing wrong with meeting your fiance on Facebook. And your being denied visiting visa won't affect your k3 visa application.

Thanks for your help so far on this thread. Pls my spouse visa RFE was submitted after the deadline. We should have submitted August 10, 2019 but we submitted August 15, 2019. From what I read online, I was made to know late submission of RFE after deadline always result to denial.

Though our immigration lawyer attached a letter that the fault is from him, should we be expecting a favourable response.

@YoungIncredible, it takes less than a week to get your NPC Birth Certificate. I advice you get it asap as you would need it in your application with NVC (after getting NOA1). Note that what you'll get is the NPC Birth Certificate along with the Court Affidavit. Both are very important and must be submitted together to NVC.

The wait time is long. I hear it could take over 2 years. However the good news is that your wife can always update her petition the moment she acquires citizenship.

Sorry. I was referring to the Attestation Letter. If you have NPC Birth Certificate, you don't need the affidavit.

Id be getting married later this year and my fiance is a permanent resident, i heard it takes two years to get a visa.please anybody in the house with reliable information should please post it here...

apt mean apartment number here we don’t have that just put your normal house address live those apt fly street jut put the N/A meaning not applicable

I got married August this year. My wife is a US permanent resident. She filed for me last month and got a reply from USCIS 3 days later. It was an NA form notifying her that the application was received and being processed. My priority date was same day dey received the filling in their mail.

The priority date was however current. The NA form also directed her to setup an online USCIS account. The next day she got another NA form detailing my personal info and asked her to verify if the info is accurate and if not call USCIS immediately.

I am wondering if these quick replies will make the whole process fast or things will slow down soon...

You are F2A Category and in this category the visa is current, means no waiting time, just the processing your documents time.

Yes, your category is current and your spouse should apply for your spouse visa filling out the forms and do it online, she will be guided online step by step. You both need to have all documents ready and send them for processing. How long does it takes? Probably few months, it depends how many people is processed before you, as some said here it can be 2-3 months approval or maybe more.

There's no requirement that states the number of pictures to add. Just make sure you add enough relevant photos. Note that They will value relevance over number, quality over quantity.

Hi guys, I got to know this platform is very helpful about UK spousal visa. I read through the previous threads and I have a question.

Some experts on this platform said if you want to apply for UK spousal visa. I need IELTS exam. But right now I have B.sc in mass communication.

1. Can I use that?

2. I saw something about going through UK Naric process if I don’t want to use IELTS.

PLEASE GUYS ENLIGHTEN ME. If there is a way I can use my Bsc and it won’t hinder my application. Or if I should go for IELTS and what grade is expected of me if I do the exam.

She needs to look inside the Account for to steps to follow, she needs probably her Affidavit upload there, some scanned documents and then to make a payment, all inside the Account. The online system will let her to do it because you don't need to wait for a priority date, US citizen husband no waiting line. After she pays inside her Account, she should have the NA or some printed reference (something like that, I don't remember what is it) and her and you need to schedule your interview, maybe even after paying she can schedule your interview from her Account, I didn't look inside the Accounts for a while, but the steps are all there, inside her Account, maybe she needs to mail some documents too. Tell her to be very careful and put attention how to fill all info, small mistake may delay or deny her application.

Think of it like this: You want to leave the country on a permanent basis so your wife filed the I-130 form. Now you say you want to visit her and come back. How do you convince the visa officer that you intend to come back and not elope, seeing as your previous petition hasn't been approved?

Seems like a daunting task if you ask me.
