There is this girl in my class who had a terrible crush on me. A very close friend of her 'toasted' her, but she turned him down, the same guy who is a study mate to me also, told me to talk to her on his behalf due to my good command of english and composure, i walked up to her the second day, but ,  all she said was "well **** is a very good friend of mine, i can't date him, Na you sure pass" i was like what? I just told my friend, "the girl said she is not interested" day after day the girl made passes on me, that was 6 months ago, i was going through some 'things' then, and moreover i did not really admire her, but she persisted to the extent  that she make it looks as if i was really torturing her, not to make her get her hopes up, one day i told her "to be sincere with you, we can only be friends". But now i just start to have a feeling for her,  am on the brink of telling her, but am unsure about how she will take it. Am double sure she loved me then but now,

Should i tell her, or just let the feelings die?

you should talk to her and explain why you played hard to get before. Just be ready for her to either turn you down because she has moved on or turn you down to play hard to get or be very happy that you finally came to your senses
